Didn't expect it for Leonard, though I think he's as deserving as any this season. All Pro makes up for the dumb pro bowl snub, and then some. Better than DROY too, though I think he still wins that.

Nelson doesn't surprise me, he was hyped all year.

Pretty cool. Drafting an eventual All-Pro player is rare. Two even more rare. Two All Pro players as rookies I think I read has only been done once before, when Chicago drafted Dick Butkus and Gayle Sayers.

Well deserved for both. Definitely makes up for the Pro Bowl snub for Leonard.

It does. But he deserves that droy. He is the best player on a defense with no one else. No dominant pass rusher. No top corner or safety. Leighton is like the 4th best player on that D. James 2nd or 3rd.


Also Leonard is AFC defensive player of the month

Twice... Pro bowl is nothing compared to AP all pro. I think he should get DROY and DPOY. I'm biased, but he is a huge difference maker and this defense would be bottom 10 without him.

Ballard knocked it out of the ball park with this past draft. Well deserved by both Nelson and Leonard.

Leonard needs to realize that All Pro is so much more of an honor and a tribute to his quality of play than the Pro Bowl.

Donald should be DPOY, and it will be well deserved.

Well deserved, this is certainly the best Draft I have seen the Colts have. We got a real winner in Ballard.

I am wondering now if its happened before a player is first team all pro but not voted to the Pro Bowl.

For an offensive or defensive player. I would bet a kicker or special teams player it might have happened to.
