2:48 PM- Cowboys game - sideline shot...
Did anyone just catch the Ryan Kelly space saucer eyes to Q Nelson?
Commentators going over the last drive, how effective the Oline has been. Some coach is sitting in front of Kelly talking, Nelson is interjecting, you can't see what he is saying, his back is to the camera. Kelly gets these giant eyes as he turns toward Nelson and I believe he said "I AM THE TRUTH MOTHERFUCKER". Anyone else see this- absolutely awesome! |
What was time on the clock?

YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN HANDLED! Dude played his ass off! Great to have him back in the lineup. |
Kelly's impact on the running game appears to be far more significant than I was giving him credit for.
He's also playing better this year. I'm not sure how much of that is because of Nelson's hate-injection across that line, or of it's just finally a matter of Kelly, Nelson, Castonzo, and a competent stable of depth filling out the right side finally gelling into a UNIT, but I'm immensely grateful either way. Plus, you know Kelly's knee is probably still semi-fucked, but he's gutting it out and playing with true malevolence in his soul. Watching our RBs follow 300+lb blockers upfield is a thing of beauty. EDIT: Also, I did DVR the game, so if you know what spot to look for I'll try to find it. I might even make a GIF. |

anyone noticed that Joe Haeg was better than glow ?? or was just part of a monster game by the entire Oline !!
|
I think Glowinski is faster. Just stunning that we have this kind of line, let alone this kind of depth.

They certainly seemed to Make Vander Esch disappear. The one play he had was nulled by a penalty. Cowgirls fans really overrate that dude.

I had a chance to hear a bit of Jeff Saturday's assessment of the game and in response to a question re Ryan's development in year 3 he spoke at length about the football IQ he has. Beyond all his physical attributes he thinks he sees and understands things at a level that makes him incredibly valuable to the team when he's out there, especially couple with a QB like Luck who has a similarly high football IQ. He is very, very high on him and sees him as pro bowl caliber if he can stay healthy.

Do OL always sit on the bench in their on-field orientation? They're sitting RT to LT.

Does he say what I think he says to Q? It was right as the camera was panning away to the kick... |
Those dudes can sit anywhere they want.
|
I didnt realize Haeg and Costanzo were twins
|
I find it somewhat ironic that they sit on the bench the same way that they line up in formation:
'Stanzo / Nelson / Kelly / Haegwinski / Smith That is some discipline right there! :) Walk Worthy, |
I've never had a profile picture. But I do now.

Nelson and Kelly have got a nice chemistry.
Watching games and listening to “mic’d Up” footage I can kind of tell they’ve got a cute little bromance going on. |

I wanted to pull a GIF of the whole thing because it's as hilarious as you described, but I had to install some pretty crazy software to get my Windows PC to see and play the Linux-format video files from my DVR and there's no edit function. I'll tinker some more because if regularly recording games and pulling GIFs straight from the broadcast feed is something I CAN do, I think this forum deserves it. |
Any truth to the rumor that IHOP has requested to move their corporate offices to LOS?
