Someone here called that shit, I can’t remember who.
|
I'm usually pro-player but, yeah, that's dumb. I wonder if the lack of depth at the position will save his job? He might be gone.

makes me want to cuss

I honestly cant blame these guys. They play a super violent sport for a short period of time and need to maximize their performance to get paid. Some of them over do it though, i.e. Laron Landry
Sucks turbin got caught. |

The Colts might be fine with Mack, Wilkins, and Hines. They might not need him.

Also, it sure would be nice to have a short yardage back early in the season. Wilkins may have to become that guy. |

Since those 3 guys are rookies or 2nd year players, a vet in the position group would be good but while I appreciate Turbin for what he is, there are a lot of guys who could fill the role. Walk Worthy, |

In reality, however, if all 4 are healthy, then only 3 dress on gameday (stupid only dressing 45 rule) so it is really like 10 -12 touches each so.... But, 10 touches a game is 160 touches for the season for our top two RBs which I am pretty certian Murrey would be so... Walk Worthy, |
Hell no on Murray. Just roll with the young guys.

I wouldn't bring any RB in right now. But if brought in after week 1, I believe we don't even have to guarantee them their full season salary.
Pre-season and week 1 should be enough time to evaluate the young guys. |
So many of these guys do it. Hell a ridiculous number of guys were doing it on my high school team. Those guys are idiots, at least the pro’s have huge amounts of money at stake so I can understand. I think Turbin might be on the bubble just depending if they need another slot at another position group. I have a hard time seeing them use 4 RB’s for the season.

He is a dumbass.
But he is a short yardage back, he was never going to be a primary option. I certainly prefer him back with the team, but the offense is not at all that dependent on him. Heck with coming off the injury, the draft, now the PED suspension and the way Ballard is shedding off any resemblance of dead weight from the old regime, they might just decide to move on and cut him depending on what they see from other guys in preseason |
