The "official"Colts to get stomped by the phony ponies game day thread
I have no faith that Gus can come up with a scheme to stop Nix and the Bronco's, 27-9 Bronco's!
|
Is there some reverse radio technology that can be implemented into Gus's headset that will transmit the exact opposite of his play call?
That's the only shot we got! |
34-17 Donks.
I just hope we see growth from AR. |

Apparently, the Broncos are actually the 1978 Steelers and the Colts are the 1976 Buccaneers. o |

How far can AR throw the ball in the thin air of mile high?

The longest punt in the history of professional football occurred at Denver's Mile High Stadium, in 1969. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAPEiK8-6iI 98 yards, from their own 1-yardline to the opponent's 1-yardline. o |

There’s not a lot Bullock could have done there except literally dive out of the way. And that goes against everything he’s been taught his entire life. That’s just an awful accident. Hope the dude is ok. |
I’m going to TRY to watch the entire game today without getting pissed off.
Mainly because I’m not really sure if it’s better long term if the Colts win or lose. If they win and somehow sneak into the playoffs, they’ll lose their first game. AR isn’t ready, but more importantly, the defense is just AWFUL. They have to get rid of Gus before they go anywhere. If they lose but AR has a good game, I’ll be satisfied. |

They specifically called it helmet-to-helmet, so we will have to wait to see the replay to see if he hit him with his chest and/or face-mask (legal), or if he dipped his head and hit him with the crown of his helmet (illegal.) o |

My first impression is that Dubose was running full speed at Bullock when he caught the ball. Bullock had almost no time to react, from what I could tell. Even if it was helmet to helmet, it almost certainly wasn’t intentional. |
This is the Colts first playoff game....lose and you are out! Will have the Colts game on my laptop and the Lions/Bills on the big screen!

I believe that last week was the Colts' first playoff game ...... if they had lost to the Patriots and fell to 5-8 overall, they wouldn't have a prayer at making the post-season. o |

Wow....that looked like the Rischardson we saw last year before the injury!
|
JT can still play
|
So can AR
|
AR is a beast.
|
I like that at least the Colts still have some fire in their belly and want to stay alive...that is a good sign!
|
What an opening drive!

Quote:
On the whole, the game has become completely unfair and unrealistic for defenders ...... football is an inherently violent game, and expecting defenders to go against their instincts is actually dangerous to the defenders themselves. The league is dictating that defensive players necessarily gently and cautiously take quarterbacks to the ground, and to twist and contort their bodies to somehow avoid hitting pass receivers in the head when said receivers lay out with their hands and head extended, and that is impossible to do. o |
When AR has a head of steam, it's about as fun to watch as anything
|
There’s the turnover we were looking for
|
This game is starting out great!

EAT SHIT, BO NIX !!! o |
Michael Pittman Jr. is a BEAST!
|
His throws are getting so much better... Then there's that one
|
Great call getting JT outside!
