What a surprise ...... the Jets lost another close game.


7 out of the Jets' 10 losses this season have been by 6 points or fewer ...... they are very reminiscent of ) the 1981 New England Patriots, ) who went 2-14 with 13 of their 14 losses coming by 11 points or less.

I didn't include BILLS @ RAMS in my OP as a game of interest, but perhaps I should have ...... not because I think that the Colts will catch the Bills, because in order for that to happen the Bills would have to go winless for the rest of the season in addition to the Colts running the table ...... but maybe I should have included it because if the Colts do run the table and make the playoffs, then the Bills would be a potential post-season opponent.

I think so, too ...... I usually dislike the bye week for the Colts, but I think that this year BOTH the players AND the fans needed an emotional and mental break.
