Week 2 at Houston -stats and stuff

Average time to throw after two weeks. Oline has done well. And two of those sacks was just AR running out of bounds and not throwing the ball away.

I caution myself because our game against the Texans was, indeed, an excellent game in almost all respects.

But then I have to remind myself that it was the Texans.....who will probably have one of the top two picks again in the 2024 draft...

They're going to go for MHJ and I'm disgusted.

Didn't Houston trade their #1 pick to AZ next year to draft Will Anderson?

They have a 1st, 3rd, and 5th from Houston next year. Tons of picks lined up for ARZ.

HOU still has CLE's 1st, which should be further down the order.

Yes, Houston traded away their own 2024 1st Round Pick.

Instead the Texans will draft in Cleveland's spot in the 2024 1st Round, which was part of the compensation of the Watson trade.

Through the first two weeks of the season, the Colts lead the NFL in tackles for loss (17.0).

It marks the most tackles for loss by Indianapolis in the first two weeks of a season since at least 2001.

Both lines seem to be doing very well.

I just don’t know if we will be bad enough to have a shot at MHj. I think it will be between Arizona and Chicago who also will have two high picks thanks to the Carolina trade.

Chromeburn 09-19-2023 09:59 PM

Not unless we collapse, have a rash of devastating injuries, or Irsay says we have to have him. Which I don't put 100% beyond him.

Pretty crazy for a game that goes in the books as a 4-sack game.

Why context matters and not just looking at basic stats.

Chromeburn 09-22-2023 08:09 AM

Success rate and dominance in non garbage time.
