ABC: Rece Davis, Todd McShay, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Sam Ponder, Robert Griffin III, David Pollack, Jesse Palmer, Laura Rutledge, Pete Thamel

I'd hoped it be earlier but at least Indy should be providing some answers early tonight.

I always watch on NFL network. I like Eisen.

I wish it started earlier, too. Round 1 will take nearly until 11:00.

ChaosTheory 04-27-2023 08:29 AM

Is this thread even official?

NFL Network lineup looks tolerable...the other two would be tough for me!:D

Tolerable is the correct word.

The most picks in the 2023 NFL Draft: Texans/Raiders/Packers with 12

Fewest picks: Dolphins with 5

The Texans (2, 12), Seahawks (5, 20), Lions (6, 18) and Eagles (10, 30) have 2 picks tonight.

The Rams, 49ers, Dolphins, Broncos and Browns have no first rounder tonight.

ChaosTheory 04-27-2023 09:59 AM

The way they're talking around here sounds like HOU is going defense at #2.

apballin 04-27-2023 10:08 AM

I usually have ESPN on the TV, but have my phone on bleacher report and they announce the picks waaay before the telecasts do

smitty46953 04-27-2023 10:14 AM

I will be watching NFL Network and monitoring Twitter feed.

YDFL Commish 04-27-2023 10:54 AM

Anything but ESPN. I just can't stand Kiper.

There’s a lot of chatter about Tennessee moving up to 3 to grab a quarterback.

If that happens, Ballard should be fired for allowing it.

I don’t care what it takes, don’t let Tennessee get in front of you to get a quarterback.

Nonsense. If they give up a bunch of picks they shoud as for Murray in exchange. There is no Manning in this draft. The top 4 all have warts.

Don't want Murray. I will be pissed if we let someone jump us at 3. I don't have a guy I think is way better than the others but I haven't spent the last few months living with these guys like the Colts have. If they have one guy they think is even a little better they should give whatever it takes to get him. We have already spent a fortune on picks and money to try and find Luck's replacement and have come up empty handed. Get the guy you want. Now if they really think that there is no difference (hard for me to visualize) then stay at 4.

Heard that too… Vrabel wants Stroud …. Buckeye connection

Brylok 04-27-2023 05:30 PM

Odds they go to commercial right before or even during the Colts pick?

Odds they allocate less time to the Colts segment than other teams drafting top 5?

Don't they always?

Brylok 04-27-2023 05:43 PM

Anybody know who is announcing the pick this year? I would have chosen Pat McAfee, but I wasn't consulted.

I hope not. It'll take 10 fucking minutes for him to spit it out.

Florio now hearing that Arizona wants to include Deandre Hopkins in their deal with Tennessee.

Interesting.

I get the sense that Ballard isn’t seriously interested in moving up.

If they really like a QB, I hope they move to the #3 if they can give up minimal assets. That said, I hope he wouldn't overpay to get there either since it doesn't seem like the QBs here are worth giving that much up for.

One would think they’d have to give up a lot less in a trade with Arizona than Tennessee would.

Arizona is still gonna get their guy at 4 because the Colts aren’t taking him.

I guess it depends on whether Arizona thinks their guy will still be there at 11.

Nah, I think he'd be good. He's pretty popular nationwide now too with his show and his wrestling stuff. Get up there, cut a promo on the Titans or somebody, name the player and peace out. ✌️

Lov2fish 04-27-2023 06:55 PM

Local Fox 59 dude just said the Tits did make the trade to move into #3. Wasn't sure I heard him right, was walking out of the room.

Not that I don’t believe you but no one else is reporting this. At least, not yet.

Florio just said Stroud is suddenly a heavy betting favorite to go number 2 to Houston.

That makes more sense to me. I never bought the idea that Houston was dumb enough to not draft a quarterback.

I think Goodell typically announces most (if not all) first round picks.

He wants to give the fans on site ample opportunity to boo him.

DragonTails 04-27-2023 07:48 PM

Stroud is going #1. Someone will trading up to 3 and take a QB.

Richardson will be left at 4.

I predict Young goes 1, Stroud 2, someone(Tennessee?) trades up for Richardson and we get Levis.

I would be ok with that. I would be ok with any of the four QBs without having to trade up.

Racehorse 04-27-2023 08:02 PM

Here we go. Not. Commercials as soon as it is supposed to start, smh

Seriously? I have 8:05, and they went to a commercial. I thought it was already one because it looked so stupid. Draft coverage is a joke until the picks are made.

I'M not sure how much of this shit I can handle tonight?:(
