fire them all.

no leadership. its over. there is zero fire with this team. zero accountability. just inexcusable

when "whatever my name is this week" Leonard is considered a leader, you have no leaders.

ballard and reich should be done at the end of the year

Always too generous with your praise.

Fuck those guys!

albany ed 09-18-2022 04:37 PM

But they have such an outstanding OL! :D

nate505 09-18-2022 04:38 PM

I mean, it feels like there's some talent on this team, but in the NFL the gap is just too narrow to rely on it alone.

Oldcolt 09-18-2022 04:50 PM

How do you fire Irsay? He sucks as an owner if what you want in an owner is to win. He gets two generational QBs back to back and manages one Super Bowl. He is loved and seems like a cool weirdo. Not so good at putting a winner together though.

irsay pays people. he has no problem writing checks and he mostly stays out of everyones business. i don't have a problem with him

He pays the wrong people. It is his decision making on who leads the team that is my issue. He treats people seemingly fair and certainly isn’t cheap. I have very little faith he gets our next hires correct, however.

Hoopsdoc 09-18-2022 05:10 PM

I’m afraid I have to agree.

This performance was absolutely inexcusable.

I mean, even a close loss would have been acceptable to me. But this team flat out rolled over today.

Just embarrassing.

CletusPyle 09-18-2022 05:12 PM

I can almost guarantee that the Colts win next Sunday over the Chiefs and pump us full of another dose of hopium. I have seen it too many times! Even though we all know all our coaches suck, our GM sucks, and Ryan sucks....we will start making comments like, "we can still win the division", "this team is actually pretty good", "Ryan can still get it done" or "Frank coached a great game"....well maybe not that last one but you get the idea!

Nah, they’ll keep it close I think, but this team, this group, is cooked.

It’s over. This was a barometer game and if they’d even kept it close I’d have held on to some hope. But they flat out rolled over.

It’s over. Blow it all up. Frank has to go and hard conversations need to be had with Ballard.

You may be right, it will depend a lot on how the Chiefs come out, if they are flat and we have Leonard and Pittman back, with the home crowd, I give them a decent chance to pull it off!

Hoopsdoc 09-18-2022 05:24 PM

This team is obviously happy just to collect their paychecks.

No fire whatsoever outside of Leonard, Pittman, and Taylor.

Two of those three were out today and it showed.

Fire them all.

Do you like bridges? If so then I have some great investment opportunities for you.

Luck4Reich 09-18-2022 06:11 PM

I believe this is the second time a Reich led Colts team has been shutout by the Jags.

I can't even listen to Reich talk... Just like I couldn't listen to Pagano.

I'm beginning to think there are too many wrong people in the NFL.

I hardly follow the NFL but even from a distance one thing seems to stand out in the NFL is there is plenty of stupid coaching.

That's what good owners do instead of trying to play GM.

Would much rather listen to Chuck than this miserable suck ass shit. So tired of him and his not far away bullshit. Frank, you are light years away...from being a mediocre coach!

You are on drugs. This team is the laughing stock of the AFC. Now I know how Cleveland fans felt for so many years.

I assure you I am not on drugs. I've just watched the NFL for years and I know what motivation that a humiliating loss like that can manufacture. I will be shocked if this team doesn't come out in their first home game, possibly with Leonard and Pittman back in the lineup, with some real fire in their belly! There is only one way to get the taste of a loss like that out of your mouth...that is come back strong and play your best game of the season in front of your home crowd!

But even if I am right and they come back strong against the Chiefs, it's obvious, this team is not what we all hoped it would be when the season started!

rcubed 09-18-2022 08:33 PM

Fuck em. I am done with these idiots.

dwilli57 09-18-2022 08:36 PM

Absolutely true. Just so disgusted. I've been a Colts fan since I was 12 and I'm 65. Such high hopes for this year and they've completely dwindled away in 2 games.

Perhaps, but the idea that upsets are unheard of in the NFL is just not correct, or that a good team will drop a game to a bad team.

Heck, the Colts did so in Kansas City a few years ago, and they were 10.5 dogs in that game.

nate505 09-18-2022 09:15 PM

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...eful-contender

"As pathetic as that was today, where this is and where we need to be, the distance is not that far," Reich said. "We have the players and coaches to do it. I know that doesn't play in the outside world, and I'm fine with that. We'll take our medicine and I'll take my medicine and we'll just keep doing what we do."

Were we watching the same game? I mean, the reason that doesn't play in the outside world is that we still have eyes in the outside world, and even the blind could see how uninspired and inept the Colts were in this game.

This wasn't a game of bad breaks, or even a college-esque "Ohio State beats Toledo because they have way more talent" type of loss. This was a team getting their ass completely handed to them and one that looked like they were almost irritated to be playing the game they get paid millions of dollars to play.

Dude, Jacksonville beat their asses and bounced them out of the playoffs just 8 months ago.

If THAT embarrassing display didn’t motivate them, what makes you think this one will?

There’s something seriously missing with this team.

I’ll be less surprised if they come out and get embarrassed again against KC than I will be if they even keep it close.

I've seen teams come back after losses like this...I bet if you really think about it, you have too! I'm not ready to give up on the season after two games! Denver had to come from behind to squeak by Houston, the Jaguars are not a bad as many on this forum think they are...I'm not saying we shouldn't have beat them, but nothing went right today and we were missing our best WR and our best defensive player and only leader!

did you see the quotes from kenny moore and leonard? they didn't care at all about getting smoked last year by the jags

daedge 09-19-2022 04:17 AM

What about Gus Bradley's pitiful defensive scheme? Anyone else miss Matt Eberflus? Indeed, that says it all.

His scheme stinks. Pass rush has been non-existent through two weeks, we've let two meh QBs dink and dunk all over us. Talk about a death by 1000 papercuts.

Where was the adjustment today? Staggeringly poor.

Where was the motivation today for the humiliating loss at Jacksonville last year? The Chiefs are going to destroy the Colts !

To borrow from Dan Patrick - Stat of the day

In losses/tie to the Jaguars, Texans and Jaguars, the Colts have entered the 4th quarters of those 3 contests trailing by a combined score of 70-6

I admit after I cooled off and sobered up, I talked myself off the ledge at least.

To the point above From CletusPyle and my opinion only, the Klotz do have this thing about losing in mind numbing ways to bullshits teams and then pulling off surprise wins that were unexpected. Who knows... maybe this finallly lit a fire under some asses and they show up to play next Sunday?

One can only hope at this point.

That's about the only positive that can come out of this. That these guys (coaches and players) have some pride and actually play worth a fuck next week. I just find it troubling that they would need to get the crap kicked out of them to realize it. How about realizing it in the game.

CanuckColt 09-21-2022 12:14 AM

Frank is such a sorry wus.
Can you imagine the shitstorm if Tomlin was running this bunch?
