Looking forward to beating these guys but I’m feeling pessimistic. I remember the last time we played them they were the more physical team. But mainly there’s been too much Colts hype everywhere this week, and that just doesn’t feel right.

I am nervous every game. Even the jaguars games.

Head Coach Frank Reich just confirmed to me that Carson Wentz has been medically cleared to play this afternoon against the Raiders.

I am listening to Indy Sports Radio, and the commentator pointed out that a possible cause for concern is the fact that Wentz did not practice with the first-team this week (Sam Ehlinger did.)

I think you're thinking about 2 games ago against the Raiders. We played them in Vegas last year and beat them up pretty bad. 44-27 final with JT going for 150 against them. They did come in to LOS and beat us pretty handily in '19.

Agree on the hype not feeling right. Seems like anytime the national media jumps on the Colts wagon we get a let down.......

yeah

i could see these guys buying into the hype and having a let down game.

albany ed 01-02-2022 12:15 PM

If the Colts don't win this game, they don't belong in the playoffs.

JAFF 01-02-2022 12:51 PM

[QUOTE=albany ed;218493]

They need to win out to make it a sure thing, dont they

Win today and we are in. Jaggoffs game would let us keep the 5th seed for sure. And if the tacks lose out we would win the division with 2 wins

Puck 01-02-2022 01:01 PM

wentz is probably not going to start off very well. He has not practiced with the starters all week. And if he actually had any covid symptoms he may not be 100%. I am sure the NFL has better drugs to help than the average person can get

Need a lot of JT Hines and hopefully if we get a lead we see Marlon. I'm pretty sure he got activated to the active roster (I think)

EDIT. Mack is inactive for the game. I'd still like to know what's going on with him

In case any of you missed this in another thread

More so than any other game. I'll be watching that game since it bumped the Colts game off TV when they changed it to a morning kickoff here in San Diego.

Also need the Phins to win for a chance at the division

TheMugwump 01-02-2022 01:25 PM

Colts Inactives:

Banogu
Fries
Fisher
Hundley
Mack
Sendejo
Strachan

So, again, no Marlon Mack...

Keep him inactive so he doesn't get an injury that would prevent him from getting a good offer somewhere for next year?

Oldcolt 01-02-2022 01:44 PM

He only plays one position, and it is a position that is filled completely. He brings nothing to the team other than insurance if JT goes down. We have other players that can do that.

CletusPyle 01-02-2022 02:06 PM

Carr looks sharp so far....dude is streaky!

He's a dang good QB.

TheMugwump 01-02-2022 02:10 PM

Raiders having no problems so far against our full-strength defense.

TheMugwump 01-02-2022 02:12 PM

WOW! Wake the f up, defense!

nate505 01-02-2022 02:12 PM

Damn, that was way too easy.

WaynesWorld87 01-02-2022 02:12 PM

Welp, that's not the start we were hoping for. Defense looked awful on that drive.

Hoopsdoc 01-02-2022 02:13 PM

Gonna be a long day. Not only did they score, they did whatever they wanted to do.

Butter 01-02-2022 02:13 PM

So much for having a good run D.

Hoopsdoc 01-02-2022 02:13 PM

Shouldn’t have deferred. Should have taken the ball.

Brylok 01-02-2022 02:14 PM

They walked straight down the field and scored. Used half of the first quarter to do it. Smh

Hoopsdoc 01-02-2022 02:14 PM

Now for a 3 and out on offense and the rout is on.

Dewey 5 01-02-2022 02:14 PM

One looks like they want to be in the playoffs one doesn’t. Raiders playing with a lot of motivation & emotion today for the passing of their family member.

Racehorse 01-02-2022 02:15 PM

First drive should be a good one, because it is scripted, and the defense doesn't know what is coming. Second drive, we have to adjust.

Drewtone 01-02-2022 02:16 PM

Rock and Kenny Moore looked particularly bad.... 97 whiffed once too.

nate505 01-02-2022 02:17 PM

Yikes, this is bad.

Drewtone 01-02-2022 02:18 PM

:eek::eek::eek:

Hoopsdoc 01-02-2022 02:19 PM

Gonna be a long day.

Butter 01-02-2022 02:20 PM

Team is flat as fuck, fucking hell

Hoopsdoc 01-02-2022 02:20 PM

These guys have been reading their press clippings.

CletusPyle 01-02-2022 02:21 PM
