Playoffs?
If we win next week, and Baltimore beats Cleveland, and the Saints beat the Bills, I think it puts us in the playoffs as the seventh seed.

We would need them to lose at least two more, and win out. |

Unfortunately after the Cheats they're schedule is super easy, but they've shit the bed against bad teams this year so maybe that's a good thing...... |

I think that if the Colts beat the Bucs this weekend, then they will make the playoffs.
That would put them at 7-5 with five games remaining. In the swirling morass that is the AFC this year, ten games has a solid chance to make the dance, and eleven should be a near lock. With games against the Texans, the Jags, the Cheats, the Cardinals, and the Raiders, I love their odds of getting to ten wins, possibly eleven. IF they can beat the Bucs. |

Thursday games did us no favors, but there are still a lot of games that will help us.

OGAAT ...... One game at a time. Right now, I'm still enjoying the win over the Bills, and the Colts' first time over the .500 mark this season. And if they beat the Buccaneers tomorrow, I'll be thrilled with that. If the Colts take care of business on the field, they won't have to do much scoreboard watching off of the field. Win the games against the teams standing right in front of you, and the rest will almost always take care of itself. Once in a blue moon you'll see teams like the 2008 Patriots and the 1985 Broncos go 11-5 and miss the playoffs, but that is extremely rare. Last year the 2020 Colts would have joined that very short list, but they were bailed out by the fact that Roger Goodell added an additional (7th) playoff spot for each conference. o |

AJ brown placed on IR…. Another weapon down… Watchout mfers I hear a train rolling thru!!!!

I refuse to get my hopes up. It is just so frustrating how if the coaching and players had not shit the bed early in the season they could be in control of their destiny, instead, we are hoping the Tits lose because all their good players died.

Yes, that would be great if we got some help. I don't understand how I made your point, though. o |

We are not catching the Titans. They are not going to lose out.
Need the Chargers and Browns to lose and we need to beat the Patriots and the Raiders |

With the exception of their win over the Rams, the Derrick Henry-less Titans have looked pretty damned bad ...... I wouldn't count out the possibility of an AFC South title for the 2021 Colts just yet. o |

When the Colts were 0-3, almost nobody thought that they had a chance of any kind of playoff berth, let alone a division title. As frustrating as today's loss was, this is still a good team ...... and just as significantly, the Derrick Henry-less Titans are a very bad team. You can throw the towel in on these guys if you want to, but I'm not doing so until (and if) I see the number "8" in thel L lcolumn for the Colts. o |
I love your attitude C&O but this isn't a good team. It is an average team at best. They are incapable of holding onto a lead, which is a sure sign you are not a good team. Good teams bury you when you are down because they can. We cannot. It isn't like they have blown leads in only one game. It is the pattern. You have watched enough football to know this kind of team that is always this close and if it just weren't for this call or this play we would have won. Each loss is a 'heartbraker'. We are 6-6. The results speak for themselves.

We’ll win out …. See y’all in the playoffs between the turnovers and the fuckin bullshit pass interference we gave them bums all they could handle
We all know you gotta beat Brady and the refs unfortunately |
Good teams find ways to win. We haven't learned how yet. Hopefully we do.

Big game winning kick just now by Washington kicker to beat Raiders!
Come on Ravens hold the Steelers here! |
Damn you Lamar! Damn you to hell! Had it with a simple easy pass to Andrews and blew it!

I only caught the end. Was there a reason they didn't kick? Did Tucker stop being the best kicker ever?

Not so fast ...... the Ravens now have to play the Browns (at Cleveland), the Packers, the Bengals (who beat the hell out of them by a score of 41-17 on their home-field earlier this season), the Rams, and a rematch with the Steelers. The Ravens may have screwed themselves more than they screwed us. o |
The Ravens are the biggest frauds in the NFL. They’ve lucked into like 5 of their wins. Today, their luck ran out.

I still want the division, but a first round wildcard vs the Titans would be GREAT also
|
Well on the positive side, the Raiders lost and the Broncos are losing. Either the Patsies or Bills will lose tomorrow, so we are in better shape than before today started. The two teams that fucked us over were the sorry ass Bengals and Ravens. Having said that, the Colts put themselves in this sorry ass position of having to rely on other teams, I fucking hate that. If the Colts win out though, they will be 11-6 and be in the playoffs, so it really is all up to them. I will add this though, the Colts have had one of the most brutal schedules I have ever seen this year.

If anybody wants to pick games and mess around with scenarios...
http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine There's a lot of moving parts in the AFC. But I ran through it real quick and ended us at 11-6 in the #6 seed against Tennessee at 12-5 in the #3 seed in the Wildcard game. My bias has us running the table but interestingly... If we drop one to either NE or AZ, we remain the #6 seed at 10-7 because we'd win tiebreakers over BAL and BUF. At least in one universe. |
