Good day for the Colts chances
Chargers, Broncos, Browns all lose and the Steelers tie to the Lions. One of the Raiders or Chiefs will lose, so its a pretty good week for the Colts.
The NFL has been crazy all year, never seen so many upsets. |
Looking at the remaining schedule and how shitty we've been playing it probably doesn't matter.
@ Buff - blowout loss vs. TB - blowout loss @ Hou - probable win vs. Cheats - blowout loss @ AZ - probable loss (possible blowout loss) vs. LV - possible win @ Jax - possible loss |

The Buccaneers lost to the Redskins today, and the Bills lost to the Jaguars last week. There have been many surprises/upsets in the NFL so far this season ...... the AFC, in particular, is wide open. o |
There's not a team in the NFL that hasn't had at least one ugly loss this year. That means that there's not a team in the NFL that the Colts cannot beat and there's not a team in the NFL that can't beat the Colts. Because of that, the Colts are capable of running the table (however doubtful) and the Colts are capable of losing every game left on the schedule. As fans, we are all hopeful of the former.
Me? I always feel there's a chance to win the Lombardi until there isn't. |

I don’t like those chances, especially considering we haven’t beaten a decent team all year and that it’s entirely likely we will lose to at least one of the three teams I penciled in as wins. |
I have been frustrated watching the Colts in games this season, but i have felt that no team has dominated us, and that we had chances to win every game. The AFC especially is so closely fought, there are only 4 teams with losing records. I think that the Colts are a really good team, and will give everyone a good game throughout the remainder of the season.

These last two games have given me the most positive feeling I've had for this team this season. I still don't like our chances-to may injured guys-but we have had two games in a row with positive moves from our defensive ends as far as pass rush. IF we can build on this we can compete for championships when healthy.

I think that the New England Patriots will wind up being the toughest opponent that the Colts have left on their schedule ...... and I wouldn't be surprised if they were the only team that the Colts lose to for the rest of the regular season. I'm not necessarily saying that that is what is going to happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. o |
I agree, we can beat absolutely anyone when we play to our abilities, we have what i consider to be a really strong roster when relatively healthy.
We have a strong running game, decent offensive line (most of the time), we can stop the run. We do struggle to defend the pass though, and this is where i suspect we will ultimately fall down. |

In another thread, I predicted that the Colts will play the Patriots in the AFC Championship game. Quote:

Some perspective:
5-0 vs teams that are a combined 12-34 0-5 vs teams that are a combines 32-16 No chance. |

Not no chance but nobody's going to bet the house on us. I would say absolutely no chance but I said that after Jacksonville rushed for 2000 yards on us in 2007 and look what happened. Hope refuses to die but mine is on life support.
