absolutely terrible thread title
you get a D- |
and no seahawks win 24 - 17

Colts defense overwhelms the Seahawks. Jonathan Taylor has a monster day. Kwity Paye has two sacks, one of which is a strip fumble that is run in for a TD. Dam still says we should have taken O line with the pick.
Colts 27 Seahawks 9 |

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are a tough draw for Opening Day ...... if the Colts win this one, they could be a like a breakaway freight train for the 2021 season. o |
24-20 colts

I think we do
Irsay has made a big deal about this game. Colts 28-21 |
Hopefully Rhodes is healthy. D.K. Metcalf is a beast.
|
I'm hopeful that we win but have zero faith we will. So many unknowns for this team starting with QB and edge rushers. Paye has physical tools but will get schooled by a very good experienced OT. Learning experience. Can Banogu generate pressure? Our CB issue is a mess. I think we will be a much better team in November/December. Hope we don't dig to big a hole by then.

Colts Inactives for Seattle game:
Injured / Recovering from injury: CB Xavier Rhodes DE Kemoko Turay OL Danny Pinter LT Eric Fisher Healthy scratch: CB Chris Wilcox OL Will Fries DE Isaac Rochell |
Rochell is an interesting scratch. Faith in Banogu (he of healthy scratch prominence)?

Hmmm. I’m conflicted on this one.
For one, I have ZERO idea how effective the Colts will be on offense. Wentz will be rusty and he’s coming off his worst year so I’m inclined to say they’ll be pretty bad. The wild card is Taylor. If they can lean on him, Wentz could possibly be alright. The seachickens averaged 28 points a game last year. However, they’re a west coast team playing an early game on the east coast, which they struggle with historically. I could see a blowout Seahawks, a close win for the Seahawks; or a close win for the Colts. In the end, I’ll say 31-23 Seahawks. |
While normally I'm not too fond of betting the Colts, home dogs and dogs in general fair well in week one. And 72% of the action is on Sea which is another good sign.
Colts 23-20 |
Jonathan Vilma? Ugh.

Go Colts!

I live in Seattle. My wife is a Seahawks fan. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted the Colts to win a regular season game more than this.
|
Nice drive so far. Good balance
|
Hines getting all the yards
|
Great legs, Carson. Just hold onto the damn football.
|
Have I said I love Taylor lately?
|
Taylor in move-the-pile mode already. Good to see.

Good to see that Frank learned from last year to take the points.

o
The Colts' defense appreciated that long, sustained drive ....... make the opponent's defense labor, while your defense rests. o |
I wonder if Taylor had gained another yard if Reich would have went for it.
Overall I was pretty happy with the offense, other than not getting the 6. |
I knew as soon. As we went to the heavy package on 2nd and goal it wouldn’t work, it never works when we do that.
