Pessimist. I think we win 28-17.

omahacolt 09-12-2021 09:52 AM

absolutely terrible thread title

you get a D-

omahacolt 09-12-2021 09:52 AM

and no seahawks win 24 - 17

Luck4Reich 09-12-2021 10:08 AM

Colts defense overwhelms the Seahawks. Jonathan Taylor has a monster day. Kwity Paye has two sacks, one of which is a strip fumble that is run in for a TD. Dam still says we should have taken O line with the pick.

Colts 27 Seahawks 9

o

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are a tough draw for Opening Day ...... if the Colts win this one, they could be a like a breakaway freight train for the 2021 season.

I think we do

Irsay has made a big deal about this game. Colts 28-21

NextManUp 09-12-2021 10:24 AM

Hopefully Rhodes is healthy. D.K. Metcalf is a beast.

Oldcolt 09-12-2021 10:41 AM

I'm hopeful that we win but have zero faith we will. So many unknowns for this team starting with QB and edge rushers. Paye has physical tools but will get schooled by a very good experienced OT. Learning experience. Can Banogu generate pressure? Our CB issue is a mess. I think we will be a much better team in November/December. Hope we don't dig to big a hole by then.

Colts Inactives for Seattle game:

Injured / Recovering from injury:

CB Xavier Rhodes
DE Kemoko Turay
OL Danny Pinter
LT Eric Fisher

Healthy scratch:

CB Chris Wilcox
OL Will Fries
DE Isaac Rochell

Oldcolt 09-12-2021 11:45 AM

Rochell is an interesting scratch. Faith in Banogu (he of healthy scratch prominence)?

Look for Metcalf to have big day if our DL cant force Wilson off his spot. Hoping Paye gets couple sacks.

His momma named him Wilson, I'mma call him Wilson. Maybe next week...

HoosierinFL 09-12-2021 12:22 PM

I think we'll win by at least 50

Someone actually got a lower grade than what you always give me. I feel loved.

Hoopsdoc 09-12-2021 12:35 PM

Hmmm. I’m conflicted on this one.

For one, I have ZERO idea how effective the Colts will be on offense. Wentz will be rusty and he’s coming off his worst year so I’m inclined to say they’ll be pretty bad. The wild card is Taylor. If they can lean on him, Wentz could possibly be alright.

The seachickens averaged 28 points a game last year. However, they’re a west coast team playing an early game on the east coast, which they struggle with historically.

I could see a blowout Seahawks, a close win for the Seahawks; or a close win for the Colts.

In the end, I’ll say 31-23 Seahawks.

DragonTails 09-12-2021 12:38 PM

While normally I'm not too fond of betting the Colts, home dogs and dogs in general fair well in week one. And 72% of the action is on Sea which is another good sign.

Colts 23-20

NextManUp 09-12-2021 12:55 PM

Jonathan Vilma? Ugh.

This would be...

good.

Thorgrim 09-12-2021 01:00 PM

Colts 26-16

1965southpaw 09-12-2021 01:03 PM

Go Colts!

NextManUp 09-12-2021 01:04 PM

I live in Seattle. My wife is a Seahawks fan. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted the Colts to win a regular season game more than this.

Racehorse 09-12-2021 01:14 PM

Nice drive so far. Good balance

Brylok 09-12-2021 01:14 PM

Hines getting all the yards

TheMugwump 09-12-2021 01:15 PM

Great legs, Carson. Just hold onto the damn football.

Racehorse 09-12-2021 01:16 PM

Have I said I love Taylor lately?

TheMugwump 09-12-2021 01:16 PM

Taylor in move-the-pile mode already. Good to see.

I counted 6 Seahawks taking him down

Racehorse 09-12-2021 01:17 PM

NOt a fan on two consecutive runs there.

Racehorse 09-12-2021 01:18 PM

3-0

Dewey 5 09-12-2021 01:19 PM

Good to see that Frank learned from last year to take the points.

Colts And Orioles 09-12-2021 01:20 PM

o

The Colts' defense appreciated that long, sustained drive ....... make the opponent's defense labor, while your defense rests.

nate505 09-12-2021 01:20 PM

I wonder if Taylor had gained another yard if Reich would have went for it.

Overall I was pretty happy with the offense, other than not getting the 6.

HoosierinFL 09-12-2021 01:21 PM

I knew as soon. As we went to the heavy package on 2nd and goal it wouldn’t work, it never works when we do that.

I think that with Wentz's mobility added to this offense that we may see a lot more wrinkles this year. Hopefully wrinkles that work.

Butter 09-12-2021 01:25 PM

JFC contain him

Brylok 09-12-2021 01:25 PM

Russell freaking Wilson...

Butter 09-12-2021 01:29 PM

The defense is whelming me today
