How many wins for the Colts this season?
How do you think the season will unfold? How many wins do you think the Colts will have this year?
Explain your estimate with a follow-up post if you wish. The Colts schedule is below: Sept. 12: Seattle Sept. 19: LA Rams Sept. 26: at Tennessee Oct. 3: at Miami Oct. 11: at Baltimore Oct. 17: Houston Oct. 24: at San Francisco Oct. 31: Tennessee Nov. 4: NY Jets Nov. 14: Jacksonville Nov. 21: at Buffalo Nov. 28: Tampa Bay Dec. 5: at Houston Dec. 12: Bye Dec. 18 or 19: Cheats Dec. 25: at Arizona Jan. 2: Las Vegas Jan. 9: at Jacksonville |
Sept. 12: Seattle. W
Sept. 19: LA Rams. W Sept. 26: at Tennessee. L Oct. 3: at Miami. W Oct. 11: at Baltimore. L Oct. 17: Houston W Oct. 24: at San Francisco. W Oct. 31: Tennessee. W Nov. 4: NY Jets. W Nov. 14: Jacksonville. W Nov. 21: at Buffalo. L Nov. 28: Tampa Bay. L Dec. 5: at Houston. W Dec. 12: Bye. W haha Dec. 18 or 19: Cheats. W Dec. 25: at Arizona. W Jan. 2: Las Vegas. W Jan. 9: at Jacksonville. W I have 13-4 listed but there will be a loss somewhere due to the stupid covid restrictions on player. So I am saying 12-5 |
I’m saying 13 wins

12-4-1 A last-minute change ...... I had them at 13-3-1 when I posted this back in May. Just a few hours before kick-off for Opening Day, I am amending it (to 12-4-1.) o |
Sept. 12: Seattle L
Sept. 19: LA Rams W Sept. 26: at Tennessee L Oct. 3: at Miami W Oct. 11: at Baltimore L Oct. 17: Houston W Oct. 24: at San Francisco W Oct. 31: Tennessee W Nov. 4: NY Jets W Nov. 14: Jacksonville W Nov. 21: at Buffalo L Nov. 28: Tampa Bay L Dec. 5: at Houston L Dec. 12: Bye Dec. 18 or 19: Cheats W Dec. 25: at Arizona L Jan. 2: Las Vegas W Jan. 9: at Jacksonville W I worst-cased my predictions above. I think ten wins is the floor, which is not the ceiling, nor the roof. I'd rather expect 10 and get 13 than expect 13 and get 10. |
Tampa is the 17th game, how nice. How is that opponent even determined?

I don't know, but I wouldn't mind seeing Andrew Luck come out of retirement for one game only to finally beat a Tom Brady-quarterbacked team. o |
12-5. I think we are going to be tested early. I expect growth over the season.

I think 10-11 wins, but that wasnt an option so I voted 11-12.

It is the same place finisher from the opposite conference division in a rotation to deconflict with the rotating play against an entire division.
In 2020, we played the NFC North In 2021, we play the NFC West with the same place finisher from the NFC South In 2022, we play the NFC East with the same place finisher from the NFC North In 2023, we play the NFC South and the same place finisher from the NFC West In 2024, we play the NFC North and the same place finisher from the NFC East When they add an 18th game and then 19th game, it will probably follow the same format as the same place finisher in the opposing conference. |
Sept. 12: Seattle W

I’d say anywhere from 7-12 wins, depending on how they make it through that brutal first month.

I'm seeing 9-10 wins, and I'm not normally that pessimistic. I guess I'm not excited yet about Carson Wentz.

Yes, PLEASE!! ...so close last year. |

If Wentz pulls his head out of his ass 12-13 wins. If not 7-8 wins.

That’d be Awesome! ;) |
I think we have a rough start to the season, then we finish strong. But I see 10 wins at the end.

Ok, take a punter with the second pick.

While I think that my 12-4-1 is almost impossible at this point, I also believe that numerous ColtFreaks posters are overreacting to the 0-3 start. With a healthy Carson Wentz, I don't think that the Colts are anywhere near the bottom 3 or the bottom 5 of the NFL (granted that a "healthy" Carson Wentz may be asking/presuming a lot, considering his overall injury history.) As Racehorse pointed out yesterday, the defending AFC champion Chiefs are 1-2. Also, the Rams just thumped the defending Super Bowl champion Buccaneers, and the Colts went right down to the wire against the Rams. The first 2 games of the season was a really tough draw, with the mobile-and-always-dangerous Russell Wilson in Week I, and the Rams in Week 2 ...... the Rams are arguably one of the top 4 teams in the NFL. Beating the Dolphins and getting Wentz back to 100% health are imperative for this team's chances to climb back into the conversation for a playoff berth ....... I'm going to wait at least a couple of more games before I give up on this team's 2021 season. o |
How many wins for Colts this season?
After an 0-3 start, I'm guessing .500 ball rest of season that puts them at 7-10.AFC South is weak. I don't wish anything bad on anyone but hopefully Wentz misses enough snaps that Colts don't lose a #1 pick. Bottom line is no playoffs this season.

The Colts have won both of their games since Wentz' assertion ...... next week's contest against the Titans in Indianapolis is of monumental importance. o |

Our secondary is a mess and we still have not much pass rush, Tits are probably going to sweep us, we may hate them but they are legit good right now.
