The official “Rivers gets fisted in Pittsburgh” game day thread.

Come and get it, freaks. And bring plenty of booze. You’ll need it.

njcoltfan 12-27-2020 07:25 AM

Rivers gets sacked 6 times as Pittsburg wins 34-6.

Mr. Session 12-27-2020 10:35 AM

I hate this game every year.

Always a good 3 hours when Indy decides to head out to Pitt and just bend over the table. You know, I’ll take an L if they at least kick someone’s ass.

I just need to see one steeler get his ass bodied.

apballin 12-27-2020 10:42 AM

Fuck that we’re winning today

The Colts beat the Steelers twice during the Manning era, in 2005 and 2008.

It will happen again today.

No one remembers last yr? We would have won the game had JB not gotten hurt

BUT Missing 2 tackles this time. Gonna be a long day. Defense needs to play like they can start to finish

I remember last year.

I also remember 2011, when a horrible Manningless/Luckless Colts team lost the first 2 games of the season to the Texans and the Browns, and then came within a hair of a monumental upset over the Steelers on a nationally televised Sunday Night Football game.

I was talking about actual wins, not close losses and/or what should have been.

Colts Inactives vs. Pittsburgh:

• T Anthony Castonzo
• QB Jacob Eason
• WR Marcus Johnson
• WR Dezmon Patmon
• CB Isaiah Rodgers

Without either of our starting DTs, Rivers will be under some serious pressure. Let's hope the running game comes up big. This game is on locally here in Upstate NY. My nephew, a HUGE and extremely loud Steelers fan is coming to my house to watch this game with me. I love the guy, but I'd like nothing better than to see his big mouth get shut by games end.

Puck 12-27-2020 01:31 PM

Bloody Mary in hand, ready to go!!

Predictions

Very low scoring game Both D's are good.

Colts 17-13

WaynesWorld will freak out within the 1st 2 minutes of the game..... And I mean running clock not game clock

Really, REALLY surprised that Eason is not active today. I suspect we may need a third QB by the end.

This may be a bourbon game. Been wanting to try the St Elmos my wife picked up anyway. Hoping its just a beer game so I make it to tonights game coherent

B+ on the title. Would have gotten an A if you would have remembered the *** at beginning and end.

AlwaysSunnyinIndy 12-27-2020 02:02 PM

Looks like the Colts will start with Will Holden at LT and Chaz Green at RT when the offense takes the field

Maniac 12-27-2020 02:04 PM

Steelers should be fined for hiding Ben's injury and not putting it on the injury report.

Chromeburn 12-27-2020 02:05 PM

Game time! From today

Chaz Michael Michaels?

TheMugwump 12-27-2020 02:05 PM

That camera angle on the kickoff gave me scary flashbacks to Nick Harper...

TheMugwump 12-27-2020 02:07 PM

Where's WaynesWorld to complain about the three-and-out?

I mean, they didn't force a turnover!

Racehorse 12-27-2020 02:07 PM

Nice YAC by the rookie

Maniac 12-27-2020 02:08 PM

Pittman with that YAC

Racehorse 12-27-2020 02:11 PM

Nice save by Doyle

Maniac 12-27-2020 02:12 PM

Great play call there for the easy TD

Racehorse 12-27-2020 02:12 PM

The only thing that stopped JT on that run was the end zone

Nice defensive stand!

Sorry about that. Sunday lunch and cleanup took a little longer than I thought. Had the game on in the background but not available to be by a device so I could complain when necessary.

I'm here now, beer is flowing, and I'm ready to bitch!

Racehorse 12-27-2020 02:25 PM

Really liking JT of late.

Racehorse 12-27-2020 02:29 PM

Here comes our first defensive turnover

Racehorse 12-27-2020 02:32 PM

Nobody cares about their excuses for sucking

Spike 12-27-2020 02:33 PM

One excuse after another for the Steelers. Shut up Romo!

Nice sack by Willis.

Spike 12-27-2020 02:35 PM

Hope they continue to rape the Rapist.

HoosierinFL 12-27-2020 02:36 PM

A little late to thread,

My least favorite thing we do is shotgun with empty backfield on 3rd and short.

No reason we can’t convert 3rd and 3, but no need to make it hard by telegraphing a pass play and throwing to a tightly covered TY

Maniac 12-27-2020 02:37 PM

Defense is playing great

Especially the way JT has been running of late. Even if they only get two yards, they can bring in Brisket to sneak on fourth and short.

Maniac 12-27-2020 02:38 PM

What the fuck was that Rivers? Throw it away.

Edit : Nevermind, got his arm hit.

WaynesWorld87 12-27-2020 02:38 PM

That's the spark the Steelers needed.

That really sucks.

Chromeburn 12-27-2020 02:38 PM

Gotta put a TE over there.

WaynesWorld87 12-27-2020 02:41 PM

And another fuck up. Would've held them to a FG, too.

Dammit, why does it feel like we shoot ourselves in the foot so damn often?

Maniac 12-27-2020 02:42 PM

"This is Steelers football"

Please.... they haven't done shit offensively. They got it gifted to them by their defense and then an offsides penalty.

Spike 12-27-2020 02:43 PM

Romo is making a big deal out of the Steelers gaining 3 yards for a TD.

Fuck him.
