Have at it

If we don't come out of the 2nd round with a WR, I'll fucking be pissed.

I am hoping for a WR @ 34 then if Helaire is still there next to take Macks place next year

AlwaysSunnyinIndy 04-23-2020 06:47 PM

I will be surprised with the Colts if they stay and pick at both 34 and 44. I think either one or both of the draft picks will be traded. I don't know if they are moving up or moving down - although I doubt if Ballard knows this yet either.....it will depend on how the draft unfolds and what the other teams do.

I wouldn't mind trading pick 34 for two late 2nd round picks - the LA Rams (52 and 57), Baltimore (55 and 60) and Seattle (59 and 64) all have two late 2nd round picks. Miami and Chicago both have two 2nd round picks, too, but they pick earlier in the round.

Can Helaire handle blocking duties though. Mack isn't bad in that area, and I don't wanna give that up?

It’s a bunch of garbage that these teams both know who they were drafting and yet they wait forever to make the pick. Maybe they are waiting for offers for the pick, but I don’t see them trading away A chance at either Burrow or Young.

TheMugwump 04-23-2020 08:45 PM

I think that's exactly why they wait. Just in case some idiot in a GM suit throws all of the picks for the next three drafts at them for the #4 pick.

Worth taking that call.

Al Davis is gone, but I guess Dan Snyder is still around.

Also hurts that Mike Ditka is not in a team's draft war room either.

Although - you know there is a rumor that Bill O'Brien wants to move up into the first round.........

Dolphins tried several times to get Burrow. Were offering all three first round picks.

That is kind of my point. If they aren’t taking three firsts, then they know what they are doing with the pick. Makes it drag on forever and some of us old guys have to get some sleep sometime, lol.

Racehorse 04-23-2020 08:58 PM

There goes Tua. Guess we don’t have to worry about the health risks with him in Indy.

TheMugwump 04-23-2020 09:06 PM

I hate the Chargers. Glad they spent a high pick on a bust.

YDFL Commish 04-23-2020 09:10 PM

Surprising how this draft has somewhat gone to script, as far as many previous draft projections.

Chromeburn 04-23-2020 09:44 PM

Raiders take the fastest WR in the draft. Al davis' ghost lives on.

We could have had Jerry Jeudy. I think he will be a HOF'er. Or Kinlaw, but I think Kinlaw has some questions about his knees.

TheMugwump 04-23-2020 09:46 PM

The same Al Davis that took Jamarcus Russell. They took the fourth best WR in the draft as the first off the board.

Raiduh Nation.

Dewey 5 04-23-2020 11:26 PM

Packers took Love

rcubed 04-23-2020 11:45 PM

I was hoping aiyuk would slip to 34.

Mims might be there tomorrow.

Mims, and Pittman will be available. Some good DL. Fulton and Diggs. Some decent choices.

Edwards Hilaire first RB off the board.

Brylok 04-24-2020 12:16 AM

Well, now I'm predicting a trade back from 34 or taking a OT to eventually replace AC who is close to retirement.

As a side note: I wonder how mad Aaron Rodgers is right now? Good luck, Love.

smitty46953 04-24-2020 12:19 AM

I like Laviska Shenault WR Colorado also Higgins, Mims, and Pittman all should be there if we go WR

The Chiefs drafting Edwards-Helaire is unfair to the rest of the league. He has great vision and balance and is an excellent receiver out of the backfield. Mahomes's unstoppable offense just got way more unstoppable.

apballin 04-24-2020 12:28 AM

Pittman followed up by Chinn is what I’m hoping for

Dam8610 04-24-2020 12:37 AM

Mims and Ezra Cleveland would make me happy tomorrow. Grant Delpit or Ashtyn Davis would be a nice pickup as well, especially if they're not enamored with Hooker as reports indicate.

Chromeburn 04-24-2020 01:12 AM

Wow McShay has the Corona virus. Was wondering why he wasn’t around.

Mims seems to fit Ballard’s athletic profile to a T. Pittman seems to fit the personality profile they like. Shenault has a lot of injury concerns.

Yes, Shenault is just a personal favorite really liked what I have seen

Be interesting to see which direction they go

When he is on the field he is awesome. Guess there was some undisclosed injuries though. He should drop some more. If healthy he is a first rounder.

Rapoport saying Green Bay cock blocked Ballard in regards to Love.

They’re saying that report is bullshit they traded up because they “thought” the Colts were going to

rcubed 04-24-2020 10:52 AM

yeah, rap's tweet indicates packers thought we were going to try to jump up and grab love but never tried

Haha I wonder if this was smokescreen so Mims would fall? A lot of teams had Mims going to the Packers. Guess we will find out soon.

Javon Kinlaw left the Senior Bowl because of knee tendinitis. On Tuesday, the NFL Network reported multiple teams had flagged both his knees "as at risk of arthritis."

John Lynch said Thursday the #49ers became "comfortable" with Kinlaw's medical file.

I rank the WR's left as Mims, Pittman, Higgins, Shenault, Hamler.

Maybe. I also read an where the seahawks gm said they had a trade in place for #27 but it fell through. Maybe that was us, as many speculated, and when GB leaped into 26 we pulled out since Love was gone.

No, the Seattle GM stated the proposed trade was with Green Bay. Green Bay decided to jump one spot higher instead.

John Schneider just confirmed that the potential trade back out of No. 27 was with the Packers.

GB jumped up to No. 26 instead.

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst told Schneider on the phone, "Sorry, we got a better deal!"

Schneider said "it happens."

I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't end up with one of Mims, Pittman, or Higgins.
