Love it.

CletusPyle 10-06-2022 09:14 AM

I hope we see more Lindsay and less Hines at RB tonight!

The Colts will win this game, and a few bandwagoners whom have decried their ineptness will reluctantly put one of their feet back onto the 2022 post-season bandwagon ...... their other foot will remain on the ground, ready to leap back off of it should the Colts lose the following week to the Jaguars.

IndyNorm 10-06-2022 09:56 AM

Nice thread title. I was going to post something like: Official will the Colts play worth a fuck tonight game day thread, but yours is probably better.

Ironshaft 10-06-2022 10:06 AM

Short week...mile high altitude...no JT....bad O-Line play...no SL...down starters/important rotational depth on defense...DEN actually beat the Texans where we could only manage a tie...

I think we come up short tonight.....Colts 13 - Donks 21

Regardless of what happens tonight, they will not beat the Jags.

By the way, I think they lose tonight 13-10.

smitty46953 10-06-2022 11:39 AM

broncos 10-7

B+ on the title

not bad

nate505 10-06-2022 01:52 PM

I won't be shocked to see the Colts lose.

That said, it's an interesting game, because all I've heard on talk radio here is about how bad the Broncos are and how they're going to lose tonight.

Plus, the Colts seem to have the Broncos number. Much like the Steelers and Ravens have the Colts number, and how the Colts have the Chiefs number. I know that means jack and shit ultimately, but still.

I think the wheels are really falling off this time. I think they lose at least the next 3.

In their previous slow starts they at least competed. They’re not even doing that this year outside of the Chiefs game and about 3 other quarters.

Plus, they didn’t have an albatross like this horrifically bad offensive line to deal with.

I think Frank gets fired at years end and and possibly Ballard as well.

Brylok 10-06-2022 02:26 PM

I have almost zero desire to watch this game tonight. I'll watch it anyway.

really?

i can't wait to watch.

Chromeburn 10-06-2022 04:12 PM

I'm dreading watching. I want to, but afraid of what I will see.

IndyNorm 10-06-2022 05:07 PM

I plan on watching until I get completely disgusted with the Colts and then bailing. So I'm guessing 2 drives. Maybe a quarter

njcoltfan 10-06-2022 05:52 PM

If last weeks second half defense shows up for the entire game, the Colts have a chance, I think they will, Colts 24, Broncos 13 .

Nope.
But I would rather see what Jackson can do and maybe even Price, rather than a smallish re-tread like Lindsay.

NextManUp 10-06-2022 06:50 PM

I’m about 50/50 on this game. Hoops didn’t make the pre-game thread, but on the other hand, neither did NJcoltFan, so there might be a chance. I don’t think it has anything to do with the coaches or players on the field.

AlwaysSunnyinIndy 10-06-2022 06:58 PM

No surprises on tonight's Inactive List - the first four listed had already been ruled out for the game.

RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle)
LB Shaquille Leonard (concussion)
DL Tyquan Lewis (concussion)
S Julian Blackmon (ankle)
QB Sam Ehlinger
C Wesley French
T Luke Tenuta

With l Jonathan Taylor l out, l Nyheim Hines l may wind up being a big factor in this game ...... and if that winds up being the case, I just hope that it's in favor of the Colts.

Yeah, I don't miss Colt games regardless of their record. I'm usually nervous prior to game time, but not much anymore, at least not yet. I don't expect much, but will be pleasantly surprised if we win this one.

nate505 10-06-2022 08:10 PM

Hopefully this OL shakeup can give dividends.

Brylok 10-06-2022 08:11 PM

Here we go. Give us some hopium at least, Colts.

DragonTails 10-06-2022 08:11 PM

If the colts get the opening KO, can they punt on first down? That way there won't be an opening drive turnover.

Brylok 10-06-2022 08:16 PM

Over/under in Matt Ryan fumbles tonight: 2 (?)
I'll say under

nate505 10-06-2022 08:17 PM

Ok Hines, quit crying and not getting the ball

Spike 10-06-2022 08:18 PM

And Hines drops the first pass. This fucking team is maddening.

nate505 10-06-2022 08:19 PM

Yikes, I hope he's ok. That looked real bad

CletusPyle 10-06-2022 08:19 PM

Hines is done....come on Lindsay, next man up!

Brylok 10-06-2022 08:20 PM

Hines got fucked up. Scary reaction.

Spike 10-06-2022 08:20 PM

A 3 and out right away. Hines looks like he has a concussion now. Same old slow ass start.

Hines screwed the entire drive up with that first missed pass....hope he is OK, but you can't that!

Guess my Hines under 34 rushing yards is coming in.

CletusPyle 10-06-2022 08:24 PM

Broke containment, I knew that was going to be a problem tonight!

CletusPyle 10-06-2022 08:26 PM

Only giving up a FG is a win for the Colts....

Spike 10-06-2022 08:26 PM

Colts run defense looking good, but that's about it so far.

nate505 10-06-2022 08:26 PM

Could have been worse, but I'm not impressed with these starts.
