Gas up 74 cents a gallon at terminals

Thanks to the Biden administration. The most affected class will again be all of us in the middle.

The Saudis have cut oil production, the extra hot weather slows the process of refining oil to gas, Investors jittery about hurricane season with early disruption of So. Cal refineries off line due to recent storm.

Now how is any of that the fault of ANYBODY? Shit happens.

You’ll never get it. Shuts off the Alaskan peninsula which can lead us to not needing the Middle East. But good business has never been a strong suit of the liberals. They’d rather take the kids away from their own parents.

Boy, ain't that the truth. Everything woke goes broke. Unfortunately, they are dragging our asses down with them.

Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans have given a shit about the middle-class since about 1971 ...... and even then, it's not so much that they gave a shit about them as it is that they accepted that they happened to fall into place with the socio-economic occurrences at the time that protected the wealthy and the rich.

Believe it or not, Barack Obama and Donald Trump are a lot more alike than they are different ...... the same was true of Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon, all the way back to the first battle of the Revolutionary War at Lexington and Concord back in April of 1775.

The wealthy (the billionaires) and the rich (the multi-millionaires) keep the middle classes and the lower classes fighting with each other, so that they can keep going to the bank ...... the scratching and clawing at each other between the liberals and the conservatives on this ColtFreaks website is a prime example of that.

Even if they opened the Alaska peninsula drilling, there wouldnt be oil for a couple years, no infrastructure in place NOW to move the oil now. And if we did, the saudis would just cut their production.

When will you realize that when we become less dependent on OIL, we can tell the saudis to go pound sand

Maybe we need to produce more, like we are saying. You are insufferable. So are the other liberals who think we can somehow go with electric cars, all while our infrastructure for electricity cannot handle a tiny fraction of the demand that would create.

And you dont listen. Production will ramp up as the temperature cools. Building more refineries, or drilling more wells will take YEARS to make a difference. Building and installing charging stations also take time, and straight electric car production will take more time. Stop gap efforts with hybrid cars and using gasahol could help right now. But the arabs will continue to fuck us as long as we let them control the market. As long as they can set the price because we keep buying gas guzzuling trucks and vans, prices are not going anywhere.

Until We start using other forms of energy, for cars and homes, the arabs will have us by the nuts. This nation needs more nuclear power, which will piss off the liberals, but it can be done now. Warren Buffet and Bill Gates are in the process of using USNavy designed reactors, hooked up in series, can produce electricity like a regular power plant. Fusion power may never occur, but this could work and be safe.

If we are going to increase energy, this is better than burning oil

No, climate change is part of the evolution of the planet. Iran and Iraq were more like Indiana and Ohio than their present state, could be compared to New Mexico or parts of Arizona. The Earth had a wobble from the asteroid hit that killed the dinosaurs. As it slowed, the climate of that region changed.

We know, from a century of data collection, that the CO2 AND CO levels have been increasing. They show a direct relationship of change, CO2 increases as the planet increases the combustion of carbon fuel.

Things we can do now.

1 stop cutting down forests and paving over crop land. Plants are the best way to take CO2 out of the air and replace it with O2. In the 20+ years I have lived in Indiana, thousands of acres of farmland have been paved over for houses and malls. This is happening in many nations around the world. We need the trees, grass, and crops.

2. Use less oil and gas. Set home thermostats higher in summer and lower in winter.

3. Hybrid vehicles are something we could do now. Give a big tax cut for buying energy efficient cars.

4. Nuclear power, not using breeder reactors. France has cheap energy using a reactor system that does use enriched uranium. We dont need more nuclear bombs, their are methods that are safer. Build these plants at old coal fired plants that have been shuttered. Access to the electrical grid is in place.

Oh, and let the US Navy run the reactors. They have the best safety record when it comes to operations. The big corps will bitch about it, but their safety history sucks.

If we decrease our use of oil and gas, the arabs fucked. They cant feed themselves, and their income is decreased dramatically.

All of this is possible. Stop funding the arabs, and WE set the price of oil.

Increasing our production will make it a little cheaper. Lets stop funding the arabs and uses a system that benefits US right now.

That is a simple list of things that can be started NOW.

I can get on board with some of this, but the idea that we can somehow eliminate gas-powered vehicles completely is laughable. As for nuclear reactors, it is a good idea that most communities support being built in some other community. It seems the areas that need their energy potential the most are the ones who do not want them near their city.

.

I never said that. We will need trains, farm tractors and combines. Farm production with fewer workers available will need diesel driven equipment. We had electric driven trains in the past, and there are short routes that would work. We need to rebuild the rail infrastructure, and some of it it can be powered by electricity.

There is no perfect solution for zero carbon emissions. Not in the short turn. Our commitment to using oil for energy forces us to work with the Saudis, and that must stop. You want to screw the arabs, stop buying their energy.

I probably use less oil energy than 80% of this country. Probably less than you, but you pontificate to me about it.

Stop posting political crap, and you will not be challenged. It really is that simple.
