This year. Wentz was an MVP candidate under Reich. That and the cheap acquisition cost make me interested in him.

Cheap? Have you seen his contract?

Draft pick compensation to the Eagles and guarantees will be nonexistent if he comes here. Put it this way: would you rather pay a 1 for Stafford or a 3 for Wentz? Given his history with Reich, give me Wentz for the 3. His issues are mechanical, and Frank has cleaned them up before.

Wait until he is cut

Eagles won't cut Wentz, that would be cap suicide. We can hope the Lions will cut Stafford, but that's not a guarantee.

It might be a similar situation to when Houston traded Osweiler and a second round pick to the Browns and didn't get much in return but unloaded his salary to a team that could absorb it. Same situation with Wentz but better for the Colts as Wentz has talent and Osweiler never did.

It was sarcasm, catch up will you?

FYI Turay had:
15 snaps
3 QB hits
1 Sack

Good showing from him. Now he needs to stay on the field. Pity he is just now really getting on it.

According to Adam Schefter, Jets haven't decided whether to trade Darnold or the #2 pick.

I strongly suspect this is just an effort to build a little leverage for the inevitable Darnold trade. From their perspective, I don't know why they'd keep a QB who is becoming much more expensive and hasn't performed up to expectations, particularly when they're going to be rebuilding anyway. Taking a QB at #2 seems to make far more sense.

Ironically enough, by losing the #1 overall pick, they've increased Darnold's trade value. If they had #1 overall, they'd have an even harder time convincing any potential trade partners that they were planning on keeping him.
