Yes, that was pointed out about him when he played for Ohio State.

There are numerous reasons why we need to wait more than 3 games to tell what kind of QB that Stroud will be in the NFL.

You get those from PFF?

Enough about Stroud. He sucks because he is Houston’s piece of shit QB. Sing his praises somewhere else.

Most of the pressure was coming from the blitzing of Hamilton, who looks like a hell of a player in that system, he was a menace to the Colts yesterday.

I don’t know anything about Hamilton but he got 3 sacks on literally the exact same play. Unblocked every time. It was bizarre. Almost like he was wearing something that made him invisible to Minshew.

That was more of a failure on the Colts part than great plays by Hamilton.

I agree to some extent, but Hamilton did time up his blitz very well. It is easy to see this from the commentary booth when you are not trying to look at the snap of the ball and all 10 of the other players. Should Minshew have done a better job, yeah, could we have provided some help from the RB, yes again. But you could see throughout the game that Will Fries was making the line calls and not Wesley French, so once he came out and Sills took his place, that probably mixed things up even further. Although i am giving this as a potential reason for this happening, from memory I suspect that the sacks may have happened prior to Fries coming out of the game with cramp issues, so shooting down my own argument!

Couple of things... On the Ravens' last TD drive (end of 3rd), after a TFL it's 2nd-and-12 and Moore was sent on a Nickel blitz. Agholor was left alone and Jackson just planted his leg and threw immediately. 11 yards easy. We need our QB/WR's to ID that pre-snap.

As for us... it's funny, this is like 5 (maybe 6) sacks that the OL are not responsible for this season. First drive, is some combination of play-call + QB + WR not accounting for the free rusher. He clearly shows he's coming, and QB/WR don't even look at each other.

Second drive is similar, but now it looks like Moss is supposed to pick him up and completely whiffs. Even still, Minshew and Downs don't even look at each other for a wide open completion.

And at the absolute very least, Minshew needs to launch the ball out of bounds.

I saw them on Twitter I think. It was for this season so far. It wasn’t pretty. But he’s a rookie so who knows. Pressure is definitely the best way to disrupt him though.

With all the injuries on the O line, I believe Nelson has the line calls. There wasnt anything Smith could do, he was head up on the LE. On the second sack, Minshew never looked to his right before the snap.

Put a TE out there, at least that blitzer wont have straight shot at the qb

They were overload blitzes. Bringing more defenders than there are blockers. At that point Minshew just has to recognize the hot route.
