That was a bad call on 3rd down, but we needed to get points there after forcing a turnover on downs ...... we had to make the Commanders pay for going for it on 4th and down and not making it, and we did.

That Colts defense has played well this year, ESPECIALLY considering how bad the offense has been overall ...... a team's offense can affect the defense in that if they don't have long-sustained drives, it forces the defense to be out there playing longer and more often. Time-of--possession and/or the number of plays that an offense runs from scrimmage is important, unless you have Dan Marino putting up 35 or more points-per-game.
