No...that is the wrong approach. This dude needs one injury free off season and at least a dozen more starts go fully evaluate him.

Imagine if the Colts had given up on Bert Jones at the end of his 2nd NFL season, in December of 1974 ...... actually, I would rather not imagine that.

Although I agree it’s a long shot he’ll ever improve enough to be the answer, it’s too soon to give up on him.

Can’t do that yet. Gotta give him another year and hope for the best.

Ju Ju Brents also ruled out, even though he had full practices all week.

Must be a conditioning thing.

I've gone from very skeptical at draft, to making a concerted effort to be optimistic, to becoming fairly pessimistic about AR.

Even still, I agree. You decide to stop the vet QB tryouts, you draft the guy with a premium pick... You've got to be more committed than 15 starts for a 22 year old to see what you've got.

Additionally, Richardson played 8 games as a sophomore in college, 12 games as a junior, and skipped his senior season for the NFL draft ...... he had a total of 20 games of college football experience prior to coming to the Colts.

I get being frustrated with AR but ditching him this early is absurd
