Maybe, but I've seen smarter FO do dumber shit. For example: Polian traded a 1st rounder for a 2nd rounder to draft Tony Ugoh.

Either way, seems like we should have gotten more.

FWIW, the draft card that people use suggests it's a good trade, though I don't know how the card handles future picks (ie is the 450 points for a mid second rounder worth the same next year as opposed to this year).

That second pick tomorrow will be a first round talent, and he'll have two more picks to go with it in the 2nd. Hopefully at least two of them turn out to be key players for the Colts in the next few years.

1 early 2nd for what was expected to be a late first. We traded a Late first for a mid second and what what can be expected to be a mid to early 2nd. Seems not that far apart.
