I’m torn between Smith and Edmunds. But I honestly think the LB is a bigger need in this D than DE.

JMO. but I think Ballard shocks Colts fans with the pick even if Chubb is available

I don’t think Chubb is as good as most do

No other defender in this class displays the ability to take over a game. Fitzpatrick would be the closest outside of Chubb, and the only other defender in this class that I could see having that ability at some point is Edmunds. That's not to say a defender can't be a great player and even leader without that ability, but it's a definite plus to have it.

I could be okay with this.

I just don't get why people don't like Chubb. He is well rounded. Broke Mario Williams records. Has great tape against top competition, great athleticism, great experience, and he is not a character risk. He has so many plays behind scrimmage he practically lives there. That is a huge drive killer in the NFL. I know we don't see it b/c our defense has been bad so long, but if you invest in your D they will shut down drives.

I heard Pat Kirwin say the other week that he would have taken Chubb over Garret last year because he had better tape against better talent. That is a great endorsement. Maybe because there are no red flags and he is suffering from over analysis?

I would take that in a heartbeat. Too bad these drafts are not very realistic.

Very Grigsonesque way of avoid the O-Line. ;)

You don't get a score, but I feel that this is a more realistic mock draft simulator.
