Guy was the Florida Player of the Year in 2017 as a High School senior, as frustrating as it has been watching IU football the past 4 seasons, McFadden has been one of the bright spots, he was literally involved in 75-80% of their defense, he was just always around the ball. He is definitely undersized for a LB, but is tough as nails, use him on special teams if nothing else!

McFadden goes to the Giants in round 5....sorry, but I feel like we let one get away here! McFadden will make an impact given the chance!

Never overwhelmed but Isaiah Rodgers was a nice find and we all knew his speed. So that was a good day 3 with Pinter, Patmon and Glasgow.

I know I wasnt' bitching about that class.

The Day 2 was good enough by itself. I do like the two DTs as depth and developmental guys.

Ballard has a plan for these late round picks. He’s gonna get guys who have elite, or at least high level, athletic traits. He’s not concerned as much with what they did in college as he is with what they’re capable of in the NFL.

He never deviates from that.

He’s not gonna draft a guy who was productive in college but can’t run or jump or has the strength or agility to succeed in the NFL.

I totally get that. I love to bitch, especially about stuff that really doesn't matter. I love those guys we got in the third day, I just had zero idea that they were any good when we drafted them.

Don't know anything about the Yale safety. But overall I think it was a good draft.

After a great day 2 kind of a meh day 3:

I really like the Curtis Brooks pick.

Eric Johnson seems like a head scratcher, but we needed DTs, he probably showed some things we liked at the Senior Bowl, and Ballard seems to hit pretty well on the small school head scratchers.

Andrew Ogletree is an even bigger head scratcher unless we're looking to dump Granson. I suppose we can keep an extra TE if he works out, but guessing we probably won't. Would have liked for us to have drafted Bo Melton (Rutgers WR) or an OG here.

Rodney Thomas II - Don't know much about him. Would have liked for us to have drafted Carson Strong here, but since he's dropped this far and seems like he's going to go undrafted then maybe there's some issues with his knee.

TE seems like a PS hold that could eventually replace MAC if he works out.

The problem with that is if the guy shows well in the preseason then he's likely to get picked up when he's released before you can sign him to the PS. Just seems like a waste of a draft pick taking someone who doesn't have much chance to make the 53 man roster.

That is also a testament to the depth we have. When you are drafting in the 7th round you gotta draft for something, Ballard likes athletic traits. Seems as good as anything
