Yeah I think that's the hope. More range and ability to run with TEs (Kelce KILLED Walker ... then again Kelce kills everyone). Probably more ability to rush the passer on delayed blitzes a la Leonard.

But it sounds like it's not a given Okereke is physical enough to be an every down guy. Just from what I'm reading. I haven't seen him play myself. So I'm considering sub package / matchup-specific for now.

Good eye, Ballard just compared Banogu to Jamie Collins (who I know you shared my intrigue on as an athletic freak at ILB).

Hopefully Banogu has his head on straight moreso. Collins was just a weirdo and it looks like his career might be over as a result (Ballard would have the opportunity to grab him right now and obviously hasn’t).

To recap the day:

I love the Ya-Sin pick. Immediate upgrade at CB4 and potential CB1 in a couple years. A lot of growth potential there with a high floor. He’ll contribute this year.

Banogu is intriguing, but it worries me that they don’t have a more defined vision for his role. Seems like they like him and his athleticism and hope Eberflus can make it work. As I said, I’m intrigued, but this one has some bust potential. I feel the other picks have safer floors. As GBB said, this at least tells us they want to be more multiple, especially when coupled with the Ya-Sin pick. 2019 could be a de facto redshirt year.

Campbell is a dream fit for this offense. Reich must be giddy tonight. Also, don’t forget about the upgrade he provides in the return game. Love the value of getting him at 59. He’ll make a difference even if he doesn’t touch the ball (though Reich will make sure he gets 8-10 touches a game in 2019).

I really like Okereke. He’s likely LB2 is sub packages early and could definitely unseat Walker in 2020.

We had one of those a while back, Gary Brackett wasn't so bad.

I had a girl tell me that she had been up all night blowing chunks. I laughed and she asked why I thought it was so funny. I told her my dog was named "Chunks". Everyone laughed but her.

Almost 5 minutes to go 40 yards? I think I'd pass.

I don't get the hate in Walker.

I think that he did a great job in run defense. But yeah I can see them breaking Okerke in at SAM or nickel LB and then moving him to MIKE, or moving Walker to SAM at some point.
