Colts outscored 58-0 in the 4th quarter of the last 2 games!

It’s becoming more and more obvious Reich wasn’t the primary issue with this team. A new coach may do the team good, but the way in which things were handled will likely hurt them. The meddling at QB, the hiring of a coach with zero coaching experience, and promoting an OC with no experience will all hurt this team during any real coaching search. Couple that with Ballard’s constant focus on the future and it’s just not an attractive job IMO. I’m afraid Saturday will end up with the job permanently.

Like Ballard won't fuck that up. He's got to go ASAP.

They played well. Until the end of the game when it mattered. In OT, the Vikings dialed up a blitz that Ray Charles' corpse could have seen coming, and the Colts had no answer for it.

Blitzes are rarely on the O-Line. It's more about play call, play design, recognition and blitz pickup. The Colts have sucked at blitz pickup all year.

Reich was never the problem.

There were those of us who said that all along.

The problem is a fatally flawed offensive line and a meddling owner. With a washed up quarterback as a secondary problem.

Reich should still be the coach. I know for a fact he’d be better than Jeff Saturday.

Here is where I disagree. Irsay has said that a previous coach, either Dowhower or Infante, would always just bury their heads in the playbook, play call sheet or the film room, thinking that they had all the answers.

I believe that Reich was similar, with his I'm the smartest guy in the room aura and Irsay recognized it and said fuck no, I' not going down this road again.

I agree and I’m also one who has said it all along. I was trying to be gentle in pointing out he wasn’t the problem. The team was 3-3-1 with a history of coming together mid season before Reich was forced to start Ehlinger. They are certainly worse for Irsay’s meddling.

Yeah, Irsay sure showed him. Team is obviously better for it right?

You can't be ahead 33-0 and lose and still be considered a good coach! After the loss in Dallas, then this embarrassment, Saturday should not be back next season! But neither should Ballard, he built this shitshow and needs to be shown the door!

Mr. Session 12-17-2022 07:45 PM

Frank had years to figure it out. He’d done nothing, absolutely nothing, to indicate this year would be any different.

Start selling things off and start over, completely. It’s time.

HoosierinFL 12-17-2022 07:53 PM

Saturday may not be the answer but I never suspected he was. He’s a steward.

Meanwhile this team looks exactly the same whether Reich is here or not
