Well, clearly we all do. I also was not thrilled we picked him over an LT. But the dialog we had was not about that in any way.

Ha, he had one fumble in the 2021 season and you're finding a way to bash him about fucking fumbling. Hilarious. And at that point the fumble made the game 7-7 in the 1st quarter, but that's "fumbling away the game." Yeah, sure.

Chuck Clark 65 yard fumble return. They were at the 35. That play was a 10 point swing in the game.

The voice of reason is Puck and Ballard. Defense is damn important too and the Colts will still have a chance at a damn good offensive lineman in the 2nd round. So many of the offensive linemen left are basically the same. Damn good pick. Kudos to Ballard on this pick. He will address the left tackle position. Love this pick, calm down Colt fans.

Eh, I don’t get it.

I don’t like his tape. He’s athletic, I’ll concede that, but so is everyone at the NFL level. His size isn’t exceptional, I see no real pass rush tools...

Again, I don’t get it. If they were fucked because no trade offers made sense, draft the Tackle and just run with the pass rushers we have. Nothing about this kid’s tape convinces me on a meaningful level he can contribute next year.

I’m not comfortable with it but will be pleased if I find out my football scouting skills are worse than I thought.

Holy shit NO got a much better EDGE 7 picks later.

Just giving you a hard time here.... But...

You pointed out Paye only had 11.5 sacks

That much better Edge NO got had 9.5.... in 4 years as well. Maybe I read that wrong:cool:

Looking at Paye's RAS page is just as depressing. Great 40 time, but only slightly above average 10 split. Above average explosion. Elite strength. Average length. No production.

Bigger, longer, and faster. If you wanted a ball of traits, Turner's a better ball of traits.

Where is the strength on tape?

Penn State and Minnesota pushed his shit in the whole game.

He did heat up against Minnesota but it was all finesse and hustle.

Yes. In the 1st quarter. They had 3 quarters to make it up. They didn't. They were outplayed as a team. He didn't cost them the game.

And that was his only fumble the whole season. That's it. He had the 3rd most yards in the NFL (despite being in the dog house for many games) and had a whopping one fumble.

Oh I'm not defending him in any way, you're absolutely right. I was pointing to his RAS score of 9.95 for DEs on bench.

That play swung the entire momentum of the game. 10-0 is a much different place to be in against a team like the Ravens than 7-7.
