I think that they should have gone for it on 4th and inches ...... even if they didn't make it, they would still have 2 chances to win the game.

1) Keep the Commanders out of the end-zone on a 35-yard field.

2) Even if they got into the end zone, the Colts still may have had some time to get into field goal range on offense.


As it is, they probably only have one chance to win the game ...... if the Commanders score, the Colts probably won't have much (if any) time at all to come back with a field goal themselves.

Well, whatever happens, I've been entertained and I have hope for the future with Sam. Just having mobility at QB is a breath of fresh air.

Interesting perspective. Which would you rather, have those two potential chances, or have the Commanders at their 5, with the way the defense has played most of the game?

I'll take the latter.
