Just got done watching the Neville Gallimore combine workout. What a goddamn beast.

The one caveat with Gallimore(and I watch a lot of OU football) is that you have to rotate him. He tires after a few series and is clearly not the same player.

Well we do rotate our dline.

That I know. Just saying that some DR's can be effective over a 12
play series and some can't.

The NFL.com scouting report's comp on him is Darius Leonard. Can you imagine having both of them back there wreaking havoc on defense? With Simmons, the Colts could have a 4-3 and big nickel on the field at all times without ever changing out personnel. Leonard, Simmons, Okereke, Hooker, Willis, and 2 CBs in the back 7. The versatility would give opposing offenses fits. He won't fall to 13, but if he does, don't pass on him.

But he ran a 4.59 at the combine and threw very well. Plus his intangibles are everything you want in a QB. They coached the errors out of the raven QB.

The Ravens QB is going to get a major injury and that will be the end of that. I appreciate your response though. Your knowledge is always helpful here.

Not a chance he falls after that workout. The guy is just an eraser, take out a TE or WR all game, or bring him up for the run at 240 LBs. He may challenge Young for second overall. Athletes like that who know what they are doing rarely come along. I was listening to an interview with Clyde Edwards-Helsire (who interviews great and I recommend listening to him give one) and he said the guy who popped him the most last season was Simmons. And they played like 8 top ten teams while playing in the SEC. High praise.

Probably, most running QBs do eventually. But Jackson I think is a little more elusive and avoids contact if he can. Hurts seems to be more physical and takes hits on. He is a power lifter and I think he like the physicality. But in the pros it will just get you hurt fast. I saw a similar trait in Robert Griffin and I thought ‘that dude is gonna get hurt’ sadly I was right.
