Well, we don't know if that is correct or not, because we got the safety after the 4th down stop. Maybe the Texans have a shorter field and score to make it a one point game and go for two.

If they can get him for anything less than a 2nd round pick I'm elated. I'm even fine with a 2nd round pick tbh. I think he has potential under a competent staff.

Btw, someone be nice and bail him out before Christmas.

He's not worth a 2 at this point. I'd rather have Stafford or Ryan, both have been saddled with bad teams for most of their careers and when they were given good supporting casts, made the postseason and performed well.

The decision to go for it on 4th down, up by 4, was REALLY dumb. You take the points every time there. Make it a 7 point game.

There are 7 minutes left at that point. Even if Houston scores and ties it, there will likely be some time left to get into fg range.

If Houston scored after the 4th down stop, there’s probably time left again, only now you’re BEHIND and you HAVE to score instead of potentially playing for overtime if you get into a bad spot.

That was a TERRIBLE call. Kick the field goal every time there.

Colts are lucky that didn’t come back to bite them in the ass.

B on the title

A on Taylor’s performance today

I disagree. I’m not certain what the analytics say but I’d bet they favor going for it. The issue was the play call. The team has had great success with Jacoby handling those situations. He stresses the D much more than Rivers. The issue was the personnel grouping used and the play call, not the decision.

If Darnold can be salvaged, a #2 is a bargain. It's a risk, and I honestly think if the Jets can end up with the #1 pick, Darnold is trade bait and may be gotten for really cheap. I'd feel a lot better they only risked a 4th or 5th for him. I honestly think if the right coaching and team gets him, he will blossom into an elite QB. I also think the best place for him is right here with the Colts. If they end up trading him for less than #2, and it's not here, I'll be pissed.

Ordinarily, I would agree. With the amount of time left though, they should have taken the points.

If not for a flukey fumble at the end, that decision likely would have cost them the game.

Taking the points would have meant overtime at the WORST.
