There's a long way to go in the season, and that was an out-of-the-conference win for the Titans ...... the Colts have 2 golden opportunities in their next 2 games against the Jaguars and the Titans to establish an early-season advantage within the division.

The Jaguars scored a grand total of 6 points today against the hapless, previously-winless Texans ...... it's time for the Colts get up off of the mat and back on their feet next Sunday in the Great Midwest.

You're right. Trust me, I'm not under no illusion that the state of the division is settled after 5 games. But it would be hilarious after the unbelievably bad start we've had to somehow come out as the division leader this early.

I'm extremely interested in seeing the JAX rematch. Our offense can't get worse (right?), but I'm most intrigued about our defense getting another shot. After the pitch-and-catch fiasco they allowed last time, they've played much different against KC, TEN, and DEN.

But will they be able to stop Jacksonville because they’re surely gonna have the same gameplan.

Of course the Jagoffs lose to the Texans the week before they come in and skull fucked us on our home field.

You know we won't, and next week will probably be worse than week 2 since the Jagoffs will be super pissed off that they lost to Houston

I just saw that ...... the only good thing is that that play (and the call) is that it will immediately be all over every sports station in the country for the next couple of days. The Buccaneers may have won the battle with that totally bullshit call, but they may lose the war since the obvious referee favoritism toward Brady can not be denied whatsoever ...... it's literally a very bad joke at this point.

Gus Bradley indicated that the issue in JAX was a combination of guys getting familiar with the system (thinking too much) and not making tackles. Really, just that could be enough to make a night/day difference. Even if you're just one step behind because you're "thinking", that could turn a play where Okereke should stop the guy for a 4-5yd catch into a play where the back/receiver gets 8 YAC.

So that's one scenario that's interesting to watch for. The other is the fact that Bradley has mixed in some much tighter coverage since then. How does that affect JAX approach?

I'll catch the replay of JAX-HOU and see what happened there.

Bullshit. Nothing will come of this. There was an even worse call made against Chris Jones in the playoffs and nothing came of it.

Google Chris Jones roughing the passer against Tom Brady.

At this point, I really hope someone blows out Brady’s knee again or literally rips his head off because this favoritism isn’t gonna stop as long as he’s playing.

I didn't say that the favoritism would stop, I said that it would be even less defensible in the public eye than it already was in the first place. It was already a bad joke, and now it's even more absurd.

I didn't realize how bad HOU has owned JAX. Today was their 9th straight win.

Won the past 15-of-17 and 20-of-24. Shit.

The Eagles are 5-0 for only the 3rd time in franchise history (1933-Present.)

That's 90 seasons.

Nick Siriani's Eagles team won again today. A nervous victory, but a victory nonetheless. I miss old Nick.

Spoiled us. We went 5-0, 7-0, 9-0, 13-0, 14-0 in a seven-year span. I don't know if that's all for IND. I would imagine there's more from the BAL days.

You peaked my curiosity, so I had to go back and look.

No Baltimore Colts team ever achieved that level of early season success.

The best the had was 6-0 in'58, 5-0 in'68 and 5-0 in'77.

Spike 10-10-2022 09:45 PM

Refs fucked the Chiefs with a roughing the QB call. Shades of Brady.

Bullshit call, NFL needs to get their shit together.

Spike 10-10-2022 11:29 PM

McDaniels isn't worth a shit as a head coach. Dumb ass decisions.

Game was a giant fucking mess from an officiating standpoint. There was a hold on Jones that was so egregious and the ref was looking dead at it.

These ref's are regularly causing chaos in these games with their idiocy. The coming together to debate this type of shit to try to find some way to cover each other's asses, the delay it causes, unreal.

Basically every fucking call is going to need to be reviewed.

Throw a flag, no consultation- immediately turn on the mic and declare what the penalty is. Coach then has the chance to challenge it within 10 seconds, if they win, no TO lost, if they are wrong, TO lost, and if they don't challenge, next play. Move this shit along and stop with the insane momentum killing caused by these fucking clowns huddling for minutes to discuss offsides, etc...

Butter 10-11-2022 12:58 AM

Need that sky judge, the game is incredibly fast and has so much going on it it has to be incredibly hard on the guy on the ground, use technology, and a few guys remotely monitoring to help figure shit out quickly. It only makes sense.

Funny that we did not see this level of angst from journalists when brady benefited, yet again, from a questionable flag.

These fucking scumbags actually had the audacity to give an explanation for the Brady call. They said that the defender l "unnecessarily threw him to the ground."

Really ??? Do they expect the defender to say, l "Excuse me, Mr. Brady. I'm sorry to bother you, but I would appreciate it if you would fall to the ground and take a sack without me having to inconvenience you by putting my hands on you and tackling you."

The Jaguars were aided by a complete bullshit "roughing the passer" call near the end of their final drive of the game. That bullshit call, which also came with a stoppage of the clock, gave the Jaguars 15 extra yards PLUS 2 additional plays that they should not have had. Subsequently, the Giants JUST BARELY held off the Jaguars by a half of a yard on the final play of the game ...... literally, like the 1999 season Super Bowl between the Rams and the Titans when Mike Jones tackled Kevin Dyson one yard short of the goal line

On Thursday Night Football, Tom Brady just slid, with 2 Ravens' defenders going clear over him ...... he asked the referees for a personal foul, but they didn't give it to him.
