Glad the run on WRs stopped. Lot of decent players still on the board.

Raimann
Watson
Moore
Ebiketie
Ojabo
Gordon
McBride

Still three worthy we'd left for Colts, in Moore, Watson and Pierce.

McBride and Bell let’s go

ESPN's (Matt Miller) NFL comp for No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker is...Kwity Paye.

Not sure how I feel about that…….

Greatest thing about the draft tonight was that the Pat's took OG Strange who was nowhere near a 1st round talent.

Bleacher Report gave the Pats an F for this selection and Pat fans are going insane about this pick. They are having a major meltdown. I feel sorry for them, NOT!

Colts are not drafting Bell. He may be the worst WR athelete in this years draft.

Ballard loves him some measurables. Not to the point Jax did with picking Walker #1 overall, based solely on measurables.

But, my god, a player has to meet at least a minimum threshold as an athelete and Bell does not do that in any of the testing.

Bell should not be drafted before the 4th round at the earliest.

You gotta be joking right

So his production doesn’t mean anything to you?

Probably the best and most willing run blocker in this draft another thing nobody is even mentioning that Ballard clearly values in a receiver playing with Taylor

I wish Paye was good enough to lead quite possibly the best collegiate defense in history in QB pressures on 39(!) rush attempts.

It reminds me of the time they took some no name OG at 32 that no one had heard of who turned out to be Logan Mankins. Belicheat may be a dirty cheater, but when he drafts someone seemingly out of nowhere, he tends to be right and get the last laugh.

That's a funny joke. So glad that jackass inadvertently stopped Ballard from the worst decision of his GM tenure.

Since it sounds like you are a Boilermaker fan. Let me put this in perspective for you.

Rondale Moore was a highly productive WR at Purdue and was drafted at 2-49.

Moore had a RAS of 9.33, which is considered elite and was only knocked down by his height and weight.

Bell had a RAS score of 2.92, which is considered almost undraftable. So what does that make Bell's value?

The tape and the measurables have to match the production and they do not.

Ballard puts a high emphasis on athletic ability. He did not test well in any area. Also he is not known for creating separation. It will be even tougher in the pros. Purdue fans want to comp him to Keenan Allen, but Allen has much higher short area burst. He is a huge gamble in such a deep class with other options. Purdue fans have blinders on when considering him. He might work out, he’s a great college player. But the pros are the best players on every team. Can he match up?

Yeah, hard to tell if that's a good or a bad thing for us lol. There's definitely similarities as both are very good athletes and are a similar size (although Walker is bigger and a better athlete), and they both underperformed in college partly b/c they were somewhat out of position and moved around a lot.

I do think that we dodged a bullet w/ the Jagoffs passing on Hutchinson.

I agree. Hutchinson would have tormented us for years.
