Also, Barkley had a hell of a day and I'm becoming ok with him over Chubb. The fact that we can walk away with either or a boat load of picks is a good thing.

Either....?

Listen. Lets draft Chubb and keep it moving.

Yeah, but ran a statuesque 5.77 40 and only managed 14 reps on the bench.

Pass. Saquon Barkley did 29 reps.

Slow and weak doesn’t translate well in the nfl.

Davenport's measurables are closer to Peppers, and if he had any level of developed pass rush ability rather than just being a big strong guy who can muscle his way past some of the top talent in the world, I would've given him that comp. Size wise, Chubb compares favorably with Bruce Smith.

Also, no to Barkley and ideal is trade down and still get Chubb.

Trade down and still get Chubb. That has to be everybody's wet dream, right?

Yeah. Hard pass on that dude. Terrible preparation for the biggest job interview of his life.

That would be great if you can do it

"Trade down and all the blue chip players are gone" is what I'm concerned would happen.

I agree. If the guy you want is Chubb or Barkley and they are thee at 3 you take them.

The best prospects in this draft seem to probably be Barkley, Chubb, Nelson, and probably Fitzpatrick. We are in position to draft one of them, guaranteed. We don't really need Fitzpatrick. IMO the other three are the only real options. I'd only want to trade down a few picks, and then only if at least two of them are still there.

YDFL Commish 03-04-2018 12:21 PM

Chubb just ran a 4.66 that is faster than 95% of the QB's in the NFL, and probably fast enough to cover most NFL TE's.
