I am concerned about the long-term effect on his arm more than his head.

I'm worried about both. And his last press conference made me feel worse than I did before. We'll see.

Ryujinn was the worst "half empty" guy, but some try to top him/her.

Where'd that dude go? Did he ever come to the new board?

I'm a glass is half full kind of person. Why worry til you have to? Everything I've seen, heard, read and observed suggests andrew is intensely private and more than a bit socially awkward. Regardless of the state of his health (of which there is legitimate question), he makes things seem worse than they potentially are due to his reluctance and difficulty in talking about it (ex, most recent presser). I don't hold that against him. For some people that kind of spotlight is excruciating....no matter how much you are being paid to do so. I choose to believe (no, I don't have data or "sources") that he will eventually return healthy and continue to grow as a franchise QB. If that proves to be wrong, I will mourn what could have been......but I have no doubt that if he fails it will be simply due to his body failing him not cause he's a head case. I think he's more than earned the benefit of the doubt on this.

A tidbit that I ran across in an article:
Quote:

When kept clean in the pocket, Brissett had a passer rating of 91.6, but things broke down when he was pressured, and that dropped to 60.5 when the heat was applied.
Most QBs make more mistakes when pressured; it is the rate ones who either perform the same or even better pressured.

Brissett did some nice things in his first year as a starter. I think he has a lot of room to grow. Hopefully, a revamped O-Line and better offensive system will help him flourish so that we can trade him after the next year.

Walk Worthy,

Walk Worthy,

I have no doubt the guy has a lot of ability and I like him as a number 2. On a Decent team, he will win some games, I just don't think he has the vision and decision making to ever be a starter in the NFL long term. I do think he can have a long successful career as a high-level backup.
