The example in this game was especially bad. He pulled back like 5 yards away from contact. At least try to make the catch...

Bullshit a 17 point lead is nothing in the NFL

If that’s the case get a lead and pull him out every fuckin game

He’s had enough starts I don’t care how young he is, there’s so much I have to say about this but I’ll keep it short.

1. If you’re running in the middle of the field get the fuck down period, you had the first down and the lead early in the game wtf are you doing

2. If you’re gonna try and run with authority down the middle of the field when you get to the 3rd level PUNISH those little ass DBs you’re 6-4 250

3. Hold on to the fuckin ball, he fumbles or gets hurt half the time he gets tackled that’s ridiculous. I believe that’s why he oversold the injury because he knew he fucked up fumbling

4. You’re the leader of the team fuckin act like it! I don’t give a fuck they should have to drag you off the field! That’s how teammates lose faith in your youngass real quick

Minkah Fitzpatrick is a dirty player. Rightfully got flagged on the helmet to helmet hit on Mitchell and should've been flagged for kidney shotting AR with his helmet.

Depth is getting tested early... again. Good to beat an undefeated team when...

-Your young QB shows flashes of a scary offense for less than a quarter, before watching from the sidelines... again.

-Backup QB has to do the lion's share... again.

-Your center/captain is out and your rookie backup plays his first pro snaps.

-Both your starting DE's are out.

-Your starting DT/best defender is out.

-Your top-2 CB's are out.

Not bad, I'd say. Just need AR to stop having hiccups and start stacking these reps/experience. He's got the offense roasting the #1 D on those first two drives. Running is good and helps open up JT's runs.

JT went from 6.1ypc the first two drives down to 3.0ypc the rest of the game. And, honestly, he broke a nice 21-yarder... besides that he was actually around 1.8ypc or something. Gotta do better than that even if the D sells out.

But AR has a real effect, even indirectly. And if he's hitting routine open throws on top of that... well, we saw it briefly.

It was only three completions, but the dart to Pittman was another wow throw. And after he sailed one over Pittman... he gave Pitt a good 15-yarder that he could run with for 28 yards, then gave Downs a good 8-yarder and led him upfield to make it 15 yards. Easy stuff and all of a sudden the offense looks great.

JT's running, AR's running, zones are open... And he's out of the game. Frustrating.

In all of the years in which I have been watching football (from the early 1970's through the present), Ben Roethlisberger is the toughest son-of-a-bitch that I ever saw play quarterback.

Tom Brady is the 2nd-toughest that I ever saw play the position.

I think that Brady is overrated because many people have the notion that he was necessarily the greatest quarterback ever to play the game, but I think that his toughness was underrated ...... when Brady was 42 years-old in 2019, I saw him dive over the pile at the 1-yardline, head-first, on a crucial 4th down for the touchdown in a regular season game in 2008.

I guess you never saw Steve McNair play.

I saw McNair Nair play. Roethlisberger and Brady were the toughest quarterbacks that I ever saw play.

.

I grudgingly admit that McNair was tough rather than injury prone. Roethisberger was a bull. I'd include Favre in my list as well as Bradshaw. Bradshaw's toughness was cemented after Stan White broke his nose in a 78' preseason game. So much blood I thought he'd die on the field lol. Later said it was the hardest hit he'd taken in his entire career.

Brady was a pussy.

My problem with McNair was not with him or his play or his toughness. It was with the media. The media often calls tough players WARRIORS

There is not a single player in the NFL in the last few decades that is a warrior and I refuse to use that terminology in that context.
