Very pleased with this news. Not demanding much from Brisset under the circumstances but excited nonetheless. Additionally, any move that proves Pagano is incapable of making sound decisions regarding the starting lineup is a plus in my book.

He just stays in his lane.

One of the reporters that coveres the Colts (forget which one) said that Chud has been studying how the patsies used Jacoby when he covered for the cheater.....basically implemented a college style read option offense....and plans to steal a page from their playbook. Also, supposedly Brisset was told on Monday he'd be getting the start and got 80 percent of the first team reps. We will see what he does with this....I don't expect us to win but I hope we will at least be competitive.

Probably, but potentially more enjoyable to watch and hopefully gives the Colts a slightly better chance to win. I would be happier if they just went ahead and cut Tolzien and brought Morris back to be the clipboard holder.

morris won't be back. i assume he has a mental issue with the playbook.

i agree though. this will be interesting. this kid can play and we can see what our trade got us.

that said. he hasn't been here long, he is inexperienced, and our line is jacked. i don't expect he will do well this year at all. but looking forward to signs that the kid can play

He's been too busy this week gameplanning for the Vikings to be bothered with this detail. :D

It'll be interesting. He brings another dimension and his last pre season
game with NE was impressive. In our hearts we'd like some sort of
fairy tale outcome where against the odds he leads this team to some
improbable run. More likely the headwinds that are blowing against this
team remain in force but he still shows that he is a worthy backup and potential
starter down the road.
