I don't think I'm smarter than those in the room, and I know I don't have nearly as much information to make an informed decision. That doesn't mean I'm not going to have conviction in my opinion.

If you occasionally prefaced some of your unabashed assertions with "I think" or "I believe", then some of your assertions might not seem so conceited.

Actions speak louder than words, and hundreds of posts speak louder than a solitary claim. It's pretty clear that you do think that you're smarter than those in the room.
