I have seen 15 reported cuts so far so that puts the number at 62.

Still more to go - although there are some obvious choices - for example, the Colts are not keeping 4 QBs on the roster.

Damn, it my math skills got me again!

No, not keeping 4 QB's. But, with Covid situation I would not be against keep 3 and stashing 1 as one of the protected PS players. I also might look to stash McLaughlin as one the protected players on the PS.

DT Taylor Stallworth makes the team.

Congrats to my client Taylor Stallworth on making the Colts roster. Talented young D-tackle spent the last two years with the Saints and signed with Indy at the start of training camp.

Just released the initial 53. The only surprise to me was 7 LB's everything else pretty much fell together like a puzzle.

Yep, that means adios Chad Kelly.

Why?

Remember I said mild surprise. I knew that it was a fight between him and Patmon for WR 5 and that Dulin would beat either of them out for WR 6, because he's so valuable on ST.

Is there anyone on the cut lists anyone else is interested in? I'd like to see the Colts grab OT Prince Tega Wanogho from the Eagles. Rookie OT who could be a backup and could have future LT potential.

I think the Colts will do something with the TE position. Since they expect Burton to miss a few weeks, place him on short term IR and find an able body to fill in. Either go with Hale, or Ross or some other TE that they liked out of the 2020 draft that has now been cut

At Georgia, his kicks were typically a lower trajectory coming off the foot so longer range FG attempts could be an adventure at the NFL level.....might see several blocked or mis-directed kicks this year.

I don’t know. Funny you say that bc I just watched the SEC champ game again and noticed his low kicks. Either he adjusted it or the Colts don’t see it as an issue since it was a close race. I know he turned it up at the end there and was making a lot of his kicks.
