Colts have 18 yards rushing.

They have to get Moss going. They’re not going to win relying on Carson Minshew.

I'm going to try to make you feel a little bit better about that.

As it turned out, we still may have wound up the same had Minshew not fumbled the ball away ......

When Minshew fumbled, it was 3rd-and-goal from the 4 yardline. There is a pretty good chance that we would have only gotten a field goal out of it. The Titans were pinned deep in their own territory after the fumble. Our defense came through, and forced them to punt out of their own end-zone. Subsequently, we would up with great field position, and got those 3 points anyway.

In fact, in a weird way it may have worked out better for us. If Minshew had not fumbled and Gay had kicked the field goal at that time, the Titans would have very likely started their next possession with better field position than they had after the fumble ...... and if they had, they may have gotten a couple of 1st downs and added a field goal of their own just before halftime. And then the score would have been 20-13, instead of 17-13.

It's too bad Evan Hull got injured, this would be a time for him to shine!

Finally caught up to the end of the first half.

1) I'm not sure what the hand wringing is about with the pick and fumble. What was Steichen going to challenge? If it was really a fumble, Blackmon recovered and then fumbled the ball away. If it was really a pick, he made the pick and then fumbled the ball away. Either way possession was changed and it's first down Titans. Sucks, really bad luck, but so it goes sometimes.

2) Minshew doesn't look great and has totally sucked at times, but at the same time he's a backup QB that has been thrust into the starter position for pretty much the whole season. It's not usually a recipe for success, and it's not like anyone thought the dude was another Steve Young waiting in the wings or something. Still, I wish he'd be safer with the ball.

3) Only being down 4 with how bad this team has played and getting the ball to start the 2nd half is pretty damn good. Plus here's a coaching staff who actually makes adjustments. I don't know if they'll win, but I'm not feeling horrible right now.

It's true, but look at some of these boxes they're looking at.

Minshew hit that bomb to Pierce early and TEN still doesn't give a shit. They still want Minshew to beat them.

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but very questionable he completed the catch on the pick (if it was a pass....and it was!)

At least take a look, for fucks sake.

As far as I know, they never showed a close look at the recovery/int. I am confident it hit the ground.

It wasn’t a fumble for sure. His arm was going forward. It’s the Brady tuck rule. That’s a forward pass if his arm is moving forward.

And it was.
