This is basically 2002 against the Jets now.

Dewey 5 01-12-2019 07:04 PM

When that happens you know it's not our day.

Maniac 01-12-2019 07:04 PM

Come the fuck on... really?

That was a horrible play call on the end zone pass. And even AV can't make a kick.

This team just sucks today.

WaynesWorld87 01-12-2019 07:05 PM

Un-fucking-believable.

The 2nd and goal play was horrendous. I hate anything that resembles a fade route.

And then we miss a fucking 20-something-yard FG.

Fuck this shit.

rcubed 01-12-2019 07:05 PM

Rogers was out of bounds on that play. The refs fucked us out of 10 seconds which would’ve given us another shot at the end zone

2nd time that official was overzealous with his call. Cost the Colts a time-out on the other end.

Big Smooth 01-12-2019 07:05 PM

How are we playing like this? I don't get it.

dwilli57 01-12-2019 07:06 PM

We're not out of it but I'm looking forward to next year.

Except we are playing with house money now IMO. We were picked to be 32, now we are playing the number 1 seed in the playoffs. We have had a very good year.

Brylok 01-12-2019 07:06 PM

Looked like a Pagano first half

Yep, and it would've allowed us to run another play to the endzone at the end, there.

Still can't believe Vinatieri doinked a 25ish yard FG.

Unfuckingbelievable.

This game is somewhat reminiscent of the 2006 AFC Championship game, in which the Patriots jumped out to a 21-3 lead, and the Colts cut it to 21-6 just before halftime.

This time, Vinatieri missed the field goal attempt which would have cut this back to a 2-possession game (as the Colts did in the game against the Patriots 12 years ago.)

So what? They made it this far so you want them to play a good game instead of looking like this.

Luck has time to throw. Just can’t find his receivers. There is a lot of holding by the Chiefs also. Combined with the weather that makes it hard to cut and create separation.

Fuck that playing with house money shit this is downright embarrassing

Thorgrim 01-12-2019 07:08 PM

I’m usually an optimist but I’m afraid that doink was the death knell on our season.

Hill and Kelce seem to have no problem.

The reason they kept the clock going was because they marked his forward progress in bounds.

Blankhorizon 01-12-2019 07:10 PM

KC is bound to score at least another 21 points

no way in hell we make a comeback

When the season started we had maybe 6 known, quality starters on the roster. It's a work in progress

Of course you do, but my point is that the arrow is pointing up for this team.

I understand that but was BS IMO. He was to quick to call that as rogers kept moving and they know he was trying to get out, not move forward.

Also, the Colts' blocked punt for a touchdown was reminiscent of the 1967 Ice Bowl between the Packers and the Cowboys.

The Packers were dominating the first half, and had a 14-0 lead ........ but George De Andrie picked up a Bart Stahr fumble and returned it for a touchdown, getting the Cowboys back in the game at 14-7.

I could've seen us being down something like 21-13 at the half and ultimately losing something like 45-27.

But I never thought we'd be down 24-7 with our offense picking up zero first downs and scoring zero points against the Chiefs horrible defense. This is some really embarrassing shit.

Terrible look for Luck, too. He's going to rightfully be blasted by the sports media the next week or so. I know Mahomes is special, but he's more than living up to his hype in his first playoff start. Luck has playoff chops. He's "been there done that" and he's the one that looks like he's making his first playoff start today.

Well the last two playoff losses have been blow outs. Didn't they give up 50 both times.

bigalbert 01-12-2019 07:13 PM

One nice thing going for me is I laid the money down on the chiefs. Felt the Team was too young. Secondary is weak and TY hurt and no other threats. We have won with Luck in more ways than one. We have a lot of cap room and some drafting to do. We will be legit for a few years. Enjoy it.

Colts took the suspense out of this game in the first quarter.

Gimmick 01-12-2019 07:14 PM

It's both embarrassing and we're still playing with house money. Next year is our year.

But I don't want home field next year. I want to go in the cold and snow and run the ball right down someone's throat. This is bull**** today with how soft and scared the coaches have been coaching and the players have been playing.

Understood. However we are better than this. Until that last drive we had ZERO first downs. Zero.

True, but it’s about as much of a shitshow in this single game. I’m still pumped about next year and I think this will tell the players and the organization that they need to get a lot better to win a title next year.

Yeah. We don’t have a Hill and Kelce. We have a gimpy TY and Ebron is very good, but they are bracketing him.

Unlike Jim Caldwell and Chuck Pagano, Frank Reich knows when (and when not to) call a time out ........ excellent clock management on the defensive side of the ball late in the 2nd quarter, when the Chiefs were driving deep in Colts territory.

Gimmick 01-12-2019 07:16 PM

Colts have been completely out-coached this game. Maybe that means we get Eberflus back, which is a good thing.

Nearly all of the big plays are on the LBs, not the secondary.

PeytonsForehead 01-12-2019 07:16 PM

Make no mistake, it has been a good season! Nobody expected us to make it this far! Anything on top is a bonus.
