(THE COLTS' DEFENSE) In my rat's ass of an opinion, the Colts' defense played very well today ...... better than what the scoreboard might indicate. The offense put them in bad positions on numerous occasions throughout the game. They got 4 stops in the first half (3 punts, and they held them without scoring right before halftime when the Chiefs had excellent field position.) In the second half they stopped them on downs once, got an INT to seal the game, and forced 2 field-goal attempts (one of which the Chiefs missed.) o |
Glad to see us play worth a fuck and get the win. Too bad we can't play with this type of effort every week. We'd be 3-0 right now if we had in weeks 1 and 2.

OK, it's not the same because the Colts had their starting quarterback today ...... still, after a disastrous first 2 games of the season, the Colts somehow managed to beat one of the best teams in the NFL with perhaps the best quarterback in the NFL. o |
We seem to be Kansas City's kryptonite. Glad to be that for someone.

The 1974 Steelers started the season at 1-1-1. https://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/r...Teams/1974-pit They went on to win the Super Bowl that year. o |

Just because we won does not mean that they do not have to make some changes on the O-Line.
I feel if that is done, Ryan and the offense start to gel and we get Shaq Leonard back we can do something. As long as Reich gets outta the way and stops doing Reich like things. |
What a different feeling from last week. Who would have guessed our one victory through 3 weeks would have been against the Chiefs?
Kinda nice that an opposing team's kicker fucked them instead of ours fucking us for a change. Big kudos to Mac making his kicks. |

Those two are killing this team right now. |

That's it, I'm 0 for 3 in picking a winner in Colts games this year. From this game forward, I'll be picking the Colts to lose each week.

It likely needs its own thread, but that loss to Jacksontucky doesn't look quite so bad at the moment, considering how they are spanking the Chargers.

Pats and Brady both lose in really tough fashion.

It was good to see them look like an actual nfl team today. Great win!
But what happened the past two weeks, especially last week is inexcusable and should not be forgotten. |
Wondering if it will ever come out what Jones said.
So far, he's going the "I'm not saying, but it wasn't that bad but I should know better" route, while Ryan is going the "I'm not saying, but you can't lose your cool like that" route, while the refs are saying "it was abusive language, and that will be in the report" route. So unless they spell out the abusive language, we may never know. Personally for a call that critical I wish they would just say what he said. |

It looked like a borderline call but all Jones has to do is stfu and walk back to the huddle. Maybe he’d been warned before. Besides, by far the worst call of the game was the two point conversion. There’s no way that was a catch. It wasn’t even close. |
